These gentlemen were great. they took great care with the trees and debris clean up -- they even made sure my garbage and recycling bins were picked (their truck was temporarily blocking) up at the curb and then brought my bins back up to house!! talk about going the extra mile :) . They were great and I highly recommend them.

Do not recommend at all. Extremely unprofessional and unreliable. The tree removal appointment got canceled while I had already taken the day off work and waited at home all day. Next day, same thing… no one showed up for the re-scheduled appointment and not a single phone call was picked up when I tried to call and get information on my appointment.

Nic came out to give me a quote. He was extremely professional and his rates were very reasonable. Pearl contacted me in a timely fashion about when the work would be done. The crew (Trevor, Kyle, Milos) came today and completed the work. They were customer oriented organized and professional. They invited me to check that I was happy with the job upon completion. I would very highly recommend this company.

Awesome job. The men were courteous and gave me great advice. They worked extremely hard nonstop or 5 hours and left my yard totally cleaned My tree 60 locust is beautiful again Great price! I won’t hesitate to recommend them!

These guys removed a large, dead Oak in my backyard this summer. It was close to a shed and a fence. The owner Nick was fantastic to deal with and his crew were all polite and professional. They took the tree out in one day with no damage to my property. Very impressed with these guys.

This is the second season with Nick and his tree care team. They are professional, courteous and customer service oriented. They have pruned, shaped, very mature trees as well as more delicate specimens such as magnolia, flowering pear and japanese maple.Knowledgeable, careful, attention to detail are their strengths. Asked for my feedback after every tree and property was spotless when they left. I will be using them every year for maintenance.

This company was wonderful. They took down our tree super quickly; safely and cleaned up so well afterwards. Nick then advised me about when we should put grass back in and what would be best to plant. When the time came, Nick and his team explained exactly what they'd be doing and how long it would take.. and then did a lovely job putting grass in, ensuring proper drainage for both our home and our neighbors, and adding a lovely garden. We are very pleased with the work and highly recommend them.

I had a tree come down and 4 more at risk of falling on my house during a storm on Christmas Eve. The crew from Cochrane came in a few hours after I called and promptly assessed the situation and got them down. They were quick, cleaned up all the branches and swept up after they were done. They really went above and beyond expectations and on such short notice. I recommend them to anyone looking to manage trees or requiring an arborist.

Nick and his crew did a fantasic job for an elderly family member who had a tree fall. These guys were reasonable on price, professional and responsible. The driveway and work area were cleaned up better than before they showed up! They called ahead to ask if we could reschedule our time as they had an emergency job to do that took priority and ensure there was no surpises. They showed up as promised even with the fact that our area had been hit hard by a storm this week. We are having them return to do stump removal and will provide more feedback for that job and definitely will call on them again for future maintenace. Jason Kyle and Trevor were a great team.

Before starting the renovation process, we knew little about arborists. But like other types of business, customer ignorance is the best friend of those who are unethical and incompetent. Cochrane Tree took advantage of our limited awareness and claimed they could produce an arborist report and Tree Protection Plan as required by our city for a building permit. After waiting twice as long as Cochrane promised, we finally received the two reports. But it had so many mistakes, we had to send it back to them three times before it could be submitted to the city. These errors weren’t just errors like typo-s or grammar issues. The report was missing diagrams. It stated that we were cutting down our trees (we weren’t). It claimed the renovation would be in front of house, when we’re only doing a small home extension in the back.When we finally submitted the reports back to the city to get our permits, they were sent back to us citing several deficiencies. We contacted Cochrane Tree to get the revisions. But we’d already paid their initial fees. We called and/or texted several times, only to get a promise that they’d make the changes and send it back. They never did. Cochrane Tree strung us along for three months, and never did anything to help.When unfamiliar with a product or service, comparison is the best measure of quality. We learned the hard way: we had to hire a new arborist, who surveyed our property, and drafted a TPP and arborist report in 24 hours. The city approved the reports quickly: the new arborist was an expert and a professional. So we paid double, and we’re bamboozled by Cochrane Tree. I’m writing this to make sure you aren't.
