I am the owner of Dash Builders, a renovation company. After hiring numerous plumbers that either didn't show up on time or clean up their work site, Owen approached me at the Home and Renovation show. After the show I I called him. He came down and gave us a free quote on one of our projects. Since then I never had to look for a different plumber because I found the best there is. He is very friendly. I needed some work done in the basement of my 1905 St. Bonifice house so I called three companies for estimates. OP Plumbing provided a professional and reasonably priced estimate for the work, which was completed on time and on budget. While he was there, we mentioned that there was a smell in the house and Owen identified it as sewer gas. He found not one (which was damage from a previous contractor), but a second area that needed repair (poor workmanship from the last plumber that changed our toilet). This last repair to change out pipe involved him wriggling into a shallow crawl space under the old house's addition. With that, we thought we were done but, no, the smell came back!! We had to call Owen back again, and again. He was amazing, never giving up to solve our problem, and not turning his back on us with this mysterious problem. He did research and reached out to others to see what else he could try. Eventually, he found the problem...a broken pipe IN THE WALL between the bathroom and the dining room. There were a lot of hours invested, tried and failed technology used to try to pinpoint the problem, and repeated visits but Owen never gave up. In the end, he found THREE areas of concern when we thought we just had one. He does clean work at a reasonable price and is highly trustworthy to be in your house alone. OP Plumbing is our new family plumbing company and I encourage you to make him yours, too. (PS, I didn't know Owen before this and I have received no compensation for this review. I am just so delighted to find a business owner with old fashioned values who does great work so I am happy to promote him.)

OP Plumbing was very professional, responsive and easy to work with. Owen was quick to come and quote on the job, and then easily fit me into his schedule as the construction project progressed (and in a very timely manner!) I did a complete kitchen overhaul and reno, which included moving the location of the sink - so he had to demo the old lines, and run to the new location. He also hooked up the sink/dishwasher...and then fixed some valves and investigated a leak and fixed it while he was onsite. He was also able to source drains for me last minute (and I would have had to special order through a hardware store). Owen is very flexible and easy going - and already gave me some great suggestions for moving plumbing for when I renovate the basement. He was very responsive when I had questions throughout the project, is super knowledgeable, friendly, and comes with a wide breadth of experience...and does great work on top of that all. Would highly recommend Owen and his company to anyone I know...and will definitely be using his services again!
