Rented a car for a month, car was close to brand new and the service was quick. Extremely pleasant experience! Staff was super nice at the check out, forgot to bring our proof of insurance and the staff let us borrow" their insurance for a couple of days without having us pay. We then emailed them the proof. Super awesome! Recommend 10/10!"

I booked and paid upfront for a vehicle rental at this location through Discover Cars, as they were offering the best rates. The moment I arrived at this location via the shuttle from the airport, alarm bells immediately started to ring when I saw that this location was an old, dirty and tattered building. When I entered, the lady behind the counter immediately asked for my full-length insurance policy (which usually is a 30+ page document). Knowing that most people only carry their insurance certificate/slip on their person, she said that unless I have my full-length insurance policy, I must purchase their insurance. When I agreed to purchase their insurance, she proceeded to charge my credit card the full cost of the rental instead. Basically, I was charged twice for the same rental. Additionally, and as part of the reservation, I had reserved and paid for 2 child seats, which they did not have in stock. I then proceeded to ask for a refund. The lady behind the counter went to a back room and came out 5 minutes later with an invoice showing that my credit card has been credited. 2 weeks later now, the refund still has not appeared and am now going through the dispute process with MasterCard.Moral of the story: don't always chase after what appears to be the best" deal! I should have checked the rating of this company before booking. They gave us faulty / uninspected vehicle and blaming us for the damage, which is not true. I took all evidence and pictures, they had preexisting damages and never provided or reported on any checklist. Car had damages at the bottom of the vehicle and there is no way customer can look at it unless rental company is providing any proof or evidence.I was also harassed, threatened while i was in Mexico. I was denied any rights to speak to Supervisor. At last, they threatened me to call Police and arrest me if I do not comply. They took all my paperwork; they have not provided any receipt of final sign off paperwork. Mr. W***** is the rep working at the counter.They took due advantage of ours since we could not speak/understand Spanish, and they were running scam with other customer as well. I would not recommend to use this company to any international traveler.

We rented a standard vehicle thru Car Savers in San Jose Costa Rica for Dec 19 however due to flight delays during Christmas holidays we landed in San Jose long after the rental agency was closed. We could not notify them as we were stuck sitting on a plane with no phone. The next day when we went to pick up the vehicle, they said they had cancelled our reservations and said no car was available. After my husband mentioned that their car lot was full, they offered another vehicle and charged us $55 a day US for an upgrade that we did not want or request. A rental car for 3 weeks cost $5000. Canadian for a vehicle that is 5 years old, no working radio and a tire that keeping going down. This was obviously an opportunity for them to upsale and overcharge us. When we contacted the agency and asked them for a refund of the. additional charges they refused. They would not honour the original contract which I feel was unethical. Flights everywhere were delayed during Christmas which was out of our control and we had no means to notify the rental agency. We have requested a refund for the additional charges but they refuse to issue one. Stay away from this company

do not rent from this place! It is a scam. I purchased online insurance through Expedia and I also had my own State Farm insurance and they told me in order to rent the car, I would have to pay $30 per day through them for insurance as well. So are you kidding me? I know they say it’s in the fine print however, I have rented probably around 20 cars in my life and never have experienced that sort of requirement. Do not rent from them!!

worst experience ever, they didn't give me the car I booked, not even a similar model and they try to give me a car in so bad shape and so dirty, don't try to rent anything here.

Booked car through travel site. Got there and would not except debit card only credit card for security deposit in vehicle. Was unable to get car or refund on a 4 day rental. Counter person was disinterested and completely unhelpful.

Avoid! Fraudulent and misleading information, they add hundreds of $ of unauthorized charges to your credit card without notifying you. They also didn’t provide assistance in case of a flat tire. We had to drive for 3+hrs on a donut spare to replace the car. Just a terrible experience with this rental company!

I had a reservation for a midsize car for 6 days including required insurance for $156.00 USD. After several tries to get me to purchase the full coverage plan, they gave me full documents that I needed to sign to decline their insurance. Once that was settled, I gave them my drivers license and credit card and they tried overcharging me stating it was conversion but the difference was over $50 USD. Then they asked me for my pass port to photocopy for which I denied since they already had my license. I asked to speak to the manager and an individual came and asked me to leave since other customers were listening to my situation. I hope they did and left the place since they were harassing everyone to buy their insurance. I went with Hertz instead.

This place is absolute dog water and very shady. Would not recommend at all. Staff is very rude. They say they are located at the airport, but they really aren’t. I personally watched someone drop off their rental and then given to a new renter without any cleaning.
