They are listed to open at 8am. Upon arrival however, and after sitting for a couple minutes with several others. Someone came out and said they don't open till 9 and closed the door.Fix your times instead if wasting mine and other people's time.

Always friendly staff and the new automated can counter is awesome. $150 worth of cans and done, gone out the door in 10 mins!

Tried to rip me off for over $150 …they didn’t use the new machines that are accurate and fast … instead they miscounted my bottles and got mad at me when I called them on it . I’ve been coming here for three decades and never had a problem until today . I will never come back now that it is being managed this way . I was third in line to speak with the manager about the same issue… got here at 9:35 it’s now 10:50 and they are reviewing the cameras to figure out why four heaping carts worked out to under$150 when it’s usually at very least $250 usually $300 …UPDATE: it’s 11:25 and they finally finished reviewing the cameras and figured my four heaping cartloads (full minivan ) is only worth $143 … usually about $300 … I’ll never come here again and I feel like they stole at least $150 from me .

Fast, quick service! The staff member who helped me was very kind and helpful, as I have never been to this particular bottle depot before, where to go and what to do was simple to figure out though.

They could update their hours online when they are closed outside of normal hours. Wasted an hour just to realize they're closed.

Best time go is early morning as it get very busy in the afternoon. Very quick service and very busy staff.

Saturday October 22 5:15pm just left, my attendant was an older caucasian woman with Grey hair. Very rude. Yelled at me multiple times in the span of five minutes. She seemed to struggle with her job despite it being extremely simple. I was expecting always Will take my bottles elsewhere next time.

I used to come to this depot until the last time I paid attention to the sorter counting the cans. He was picking them up 5 at a time so I counted 25 times he had picked up. He put in 7 on the count. I brought this to his attention and he added 72. Still short. He kept short changing the count and I complained to the manager, but she didn't care.Advise: PAY ATTENTION TO THESE THIEVES WHEN THEY'RE COUNTING.

Good service and friendly staff. Always relatively quick, even when there is a lineup of people with a mountain of bags outside of the door. I haven’t personally tried the other bottle depots in Red Deer, but this one constantly proves why I don’t have to.

Cosmos bottle depot is located in north Red Deer, just off Gaetz Avenue. It's not in the best neighborhood, but nice to have a bottle depot on this side of town for residents in the Pines neighborhood. I think it may be one of the only bottle depots in Red Deer, so it gets pretty busy sometimes. I recommend going ealier on in the day, preferably on a weekday.
