Restaurant Rosana

Rosana is one of the better and nicer Levantine style (mix of Syrian and Lebanese cuisines) restaurants in Montreal, and certainly on the western side of the island. The décor is very elevated with a large number of crystal chandeliers and plush emerald colored chairs against brass trimmed marble tables. Clearly the owners invested a lot in the restaurant and it shows.The options are traditional Levantine and the portions of good to large size. We ordered Mouhammara (very good and flavorful), Mutabal (also very good with an understated taste), Yalangi (rice wrapped wine leaves...also very good), Cheese Rolls (a merge of mozza sticks and imperial rolls...very good but missing a sauce or dip), Fattouch salad (very good...we ordered the large it was a very nice portion), Shish Taouk plate (good, includes two kebabs and fried potatoes), Grilled Shrimp plate (tasty, includes about 8 shrimp and fried potatoes) and a assorted dessert platter (a mix of Bousa, Knafeh and Halawet el Jeben...all dairy based mixed with pastry dishes; all were very good, of a mild sweetness (not as strong as chocolate) but suited the style of cuisine.Service was excellent. There was a surprisingly large number of floor staff and all were very helpful and friendly. A special call out to B_KHALIL who took care of our table. He helped make it an additionally special night.The ambiance is nice, very bright but as the restaurant fills up the noise level increases significantly. From 7:30pm and later expect to be speaking very loudly if not yelling at your fellow companions. Enjoy!NOTE: The also offer shisa pipes. We did not opt for them so I am not aware of what the cost is...but a number of patrons were using it.

Food was amazing, very appealing (see pics) & tasty (one of the best ones I have tasted in town) & the portions were generous. The staff was very friendly & the service was amazing. Our waitress (Lea) was attentive with attention to detail. The decor was nice & the seats comfortable. Nice overall atmosphere but too bright (with all these chandeliers). I will defininitely go back with more friends.

Make sure you have a reservation, cuz I had to wait an hour to get in. The place is crowded, service is okay there were few mistakes and orders took a bit of time to get. The food was okay too, the portion is good, expect to spend over $60-$70 if you want to try different kind. Overall it’s a nice place to have shisha with a group of friends

Amazing restaurant! In my opinion it's the best restaurant in Montreal so far. The food was really good, drinks are incredible, and their shishas are so good. Their waiters/waitress are the best, they're so friendly and nice and they suggest you to take their best dishes/drinks if you're lost in their huge diverse menu. You should definitely try this restaurant with family or friends!!

The Food tastes like back Home, MUST try the TOSHKA !!!You can’t go wrong with a Double Apple Shisha, but ask for it with ICE.Good collection of drinks and desserts.You’re lucky if Aboude, Andrea or Ayham are your servers!I come here often and love the ambience and vibe of this place, great ventilation and very friendly management.Parking is accessible and easy with lots of spaces.

Very authentic food. Everything was super yummy. You have to try batata harra. I won’t consider The kibbe naye as the typical one in Lebanon. Portions are way generous. Music is great. Service is impeccable.

Visited Rosana yesterday,We booked in advance by calling a message got send to my cellphone confirming the booking it was clear that they were very organized at this point.At the restaurant, a breathtaking atmosphere.They were hosting multiple events and taking care of everyone else and haven’t had any problems. Technologically advanced restaurant, ordering gets done on the iPads.Rosana restaurant also had dedicated staff to go around clean and pick up napkins, the small details do make a big difference compared to other restaurants. Everything looked very clean all the time.Our waiter Samy and waitress Loulia were both amazing they was able to accommodate with food and drinks. They were very knowledgeable of the menue. Both came back on multiple occasions, we felt taken care of. Great attitudes for costumer service and always smiling.Thank you for hosting us and for the great care.We’ll definitely be back!

I have been here twice, once with a date; the other time with a groupe of 12.The service is friendly and attentive. However, they brought the main dishes separately with the bigger group (10-15 min in between), so we had to wait for everybody to get their food before starting to eat. The waiters were very busy though. The restaurant is usually full.The food is excellent with the right portions and flavors.Overall, great experience. Will be back.
