Kudos to Laura and her team for a phenomenal New Year's Eve party! A great venue with lots of space for the 450 people that partied all night. A fun evening with great music, food, and a chance to meet new friends. The best singles party in Toronto! Great way to bring in 2020 !

Laura is terrific, I'm definitely a fan of hers. She has great character and judgement. After I went to my first event in 2017, she followed up and spent time getting to know me as a person. Dating is never simple, so it's important to have the understanding and belief of your matchmaker through the process. Laura has provided me with several quality dates, and though I haven't found a fit yet, I have a great deal of respect and trust for who Laura is, and what she does. And I absolutely believe that her process can work.

Single in the City is amazing! I've attended several speed dating events, which are always professionally run and at cool venues. Laura is also a great matchmaker, having set me up with several awesome guys (one resulting in a 6 month relationship). She is super responsive, provides solid dating advice and is just generally a really cool person!

I gave one star because it's the lowest rating I could give! I think this match making business is taking advantage of single men who look for companion. The success rate is very low even though they say otherwise, and there is a lot of misleading information. Sometimes I think that the girls they have in the speed dating events are actresses just to show participation. I attended three events, and those girls were really fake.I also signed up for the matchmaking program, and I completed my profile immediately after. I was very interested and hoping that the program was real, but I never got a response at all despite my inquiries through emails or in person at their events. When I asked for a refund since I never got the service or even a reply, they said they don't give refunds!This is not a debate I am posting to get a response from the owner. It's a reflection of true experience to warn other guys.

I went to a few of the Single in the City events which were always a ton of fun. They were all classy events with some interesting people to talk to. I finally went to one of the Valentine's Day parties several years ago. I really only went to have a great night out, enjoy some dancing and just meet some new people. That night, I met a wonderful man. It turns out we had been close neighbors in Toronto but had never met! Small world :) We are now engaged and will be married as soon as Covid eases up. Thanks for bringing us together, Laura!

I met Laura almost two years ago and she set me up on a date with George. We instantly connected and we’re both pleasantly surprised how well she matched us based on our profiles and interview with her. I loved her screening process, it was an amazing experience as I am now about to marry George and we are so happily in love. Thanks Laura for everything! I love Single in the City! I’m not going to lie, I was nervous as hell about speed dating. One of my friends and I decided to go to a Single in the City speed dating event held here in Toronto solely from word of mouth, cuz we heard they had a great reputation. I was very impressed because the attendees were genuinely single, the venue was quite classy, no awkwardness and no segregation in the sexes and the mingling was definitely on. Ive landed two amazing dates so far and will be attending again. Will also spread the word to others, keep up the awesome work. Thanks.

Had a great experience having Laura as my date coach. I bought into her Get The Total Approach program for men and I was really impressed at the amount of informative information. I can happily say I’ve finally come out of my shell and I’m able to approach women without fear of rejection. I’ve had a few dates since the program and I feel a lot more confident than I ever have.
