I phoned Rempel to get a consult on a house that I am purchasing. Over the phone, he asked all the right questions to figure out if a consult would actually answer the questions we had. I always appreciate a business that takes the time to understand whether they can help before asking for money to help. That is a commitment to integrity and honesty.

We hired Rempel Engineering to assess a residential home we bought so that we could safely remove a structural wall. The person they sent out was an engineer-in-training so I'm not sure if that's why we ended up in the situation we did.Long story short the sealed drawings we were given were off by 15% which means that the steel beam we purchased was completely inadequate for the space. When we contacted them (after we had the too-short 20' steel beam moved into our home) and explained that there was a major issue they sent the same engineer out and he told us he would get back to us right away with some options but we never heard from him again. 5 months later I receive an invoice for $500.I paid that invoice today because I don't like to leave debt outstanding but I would not recommend this company.

Used this company for an engineered pad for a trailer, they were very professional and charged a more than fair price. Highly recommend
