Concept Nails (Dipping Powder)

Do not recommend at allIt's been many months since I stopped going here. I went twice. The first time they did a good job. The second time was TERRIBLE. My nails were cut ridiculously short, shaped oddly, made to be super thick and my cuticles were cut in multiple places. My nails litterally looked like skittles. I went to a salon closer to me and removed them in less then 24 hours.

I initially wanted shellac because I needed my nails to last at least 2 weeks. They talked me out of getting shellac and told me that dipping powder lasts longer and doesn’t damage your nails. Literally 3 days later, 2 of my nails chipped off and by the end of the 1st week all my nails were gone. And my nails were in horrible shape, super thin and dull, even worse than my nails after shellac. I also asked for a simple design and she messed it up and barely made an effort to fix it, and I was made to feel like I’m asking for too much. I’m sad because I’m a long time customer but unfortunately I won’t be returning anymore. If you go to this salon, stick to shellac, don’t let them convince you that dipping powder is better, and ask for solid colours. Any design with a slight elaboration is a risk here, the lines were drawn crooked and my nails were super uneven. Some nails were round, others were square, other were almond. I actually had to hide my hands to avoid embarrassment lol and it was so expensive. I don’t know how they let me leave the salon like that. I left because I was tired of guiding her on how to do my nails for such a simple design that other salons have done for me in 1/4 the time it took her.

Today, I decided to test my luck to call for an appointment. And surely enough I was lucky. I had a really great experience. I think her name was May? I'm sorry I've forgotten! I was introduced to Nail Dipping because it was healthier for the nails. At first I was really skeptical because I thought it was going to be chunky and bulky. But I was wrong it looked so natural and cute <3 Thank you for making my first experience perfect <3 I will definitely come back. -xoxo-

I had shellac manicure, It was the worse, the lady was so in a hurry and just want to finish the job, misses the bottom of my nails and there are some pink spot appear on my nails

Staff is very friendly! Nice laid back atmosphere. They do dipping and it’s amazing, nicest nails I’ve ever had !

Nail polish looks nice and pedicure massage was okay, however the place itself is not hygienic and the lady did not speak French or English. We had 0 communication. There is gunk on all of their bottles and the washroom is not clean. I can see finger prints all over the arms of the chairs, too. My toe was cut, and the tool used to dry my nails was not clean. Not the “relaxing experience” I hoped to receive. The radio is also very loud and playing pop music. I won’t return, and I find the reviews for this place misleading.

I asked to get my toe nails painted in camouflage. They didn't do it. I guess my search goes on for camouflage toenails nails

Not pleased with the customer service at all. Twice booked an appointment, went there only to find out that one time they hadn’t noted it down at all and second time that they had booked me for another random date. Both times I was not offered anything else that could fit my schedule. As for the actual manicure I had one time, it was shellac and surface was not even , nail not properly sealed causing it to flake away 1 week later but thought of giving it another chance. Pedicure was regular and was ok.

Anna and Lillian are awesome! My first set of gel nails lasted a month with no breaks and no fills! Anna tried the coffin shape on me, as well as the chrome! They turned out great! Fair prices and my new nails place in the west!Lillian did my pedicure over two weeks ago and is still lasting after a week on the beach and a week of travel after:)Definitely recommend this place for all your mani/pedi needs!

I honestly never write reviews no matter how bad the experience but If i could give this place 0 and less stars i would!!! I went for the first time today with my friends and the pedicure we got was the worst! I literally just asked for a color change i really don’t think its that hard, half of my nail doesn’t have color on it and my toe is literally smudged even tho its shellac and thats after i asked her to fix it. My friend asked for a french on her toes, they first didn’t do the colors she chose, and she walked out as if its a week old pedicure. We asked to speak to the manager and she was so rude, overall this is literally the worst experience we’ve ever had!!!!
