Thai Express Riocentre Kanata
Super good looking place. Unfortunately, food has yet to catch up to the quality of the Terry fox location. The quantity was good but the flavor was not up to expectation. I ordered a shrimp fried rice basil spicy. Usually the color of the rice is a rich dark one but it was light, the spice was medium at best and the flavour was not what I am used to but not bad either. Chop it up to a new location and new staff. Hopefully, with practice and experience, the quality will jump up. Really happy that a north Kanata location opened up.

Evident that the chain is relatively new. Staff seems severely inexperience, food quality was very sub-par compared to other locations, and multiple errors were made with my order. The gentleman behind me was also rather taken aback about being given his noodles in a plastic bag, separate from his soup/broth, and told to mix the two. Maybe time will help.

Brutal. It wasn’t that bad that they messed up the order, but….we ordered two chicken pad Thai’s… Noodles are mushy, vegetables are undercooked, the chicken is rubbery and they really shorted us on the amount of food compared to other locations. Just brutal

Honestly, the best Thai food I’ve had here! Tried the veggie spring rolls, pad thai, stir fry, and general Thai chicken with fried rice - to die for! Will be back very soon!

Great new location. Clean and well organized. Service is top notch and employees were friendly and attentive to my order. Food was very well prepared too! Another great Thai Express location :) will be visiting very frequently.
