Nelson's Flower Shop

Day 1. I call up asking for a dozen red roses to be delivered. They say they are out of roses. I ask if I can give them my card and have them delivered tomorrow. The girl over the phone says sure no problemDay 2. I'm working and don't have my phone on me. When I get done work I expect that the roses had been delivered. Instead I get 3 messages from Nelsons with the last one saying that if they didn't hear from me by 1pm that they'd give the roses to another customer. I'm thinking what the hell? I paid for them. The last conversation I had with them was me wanting those roses to be delivered. Nothing has changed.I had to call Nelsons flower shop and ask for the girl who took the order.....apparently she went home. I had to text the girl at home asking why they weren't delivered.Day 3. They were finally delivered.I'm changing Flower Shops because if I'm a paying customer and I have to fight like this to get flowers delivered then I'm changing shops. What if this delivery was time sensitive?"

I ordered an arrangement early in the morning of my great uncle’s funeral and they were delivered on time that day. The arrangement was $60 plus tax and I feel I got an excellent deal! There are a lot of flowers for such a low price. I would order flowers from them again.

Posting this review for Gerry Brooking from Pennsylvania **Buyer Beware** Ordered for a party in Plattsburgh, Nelson's couldn't get flowers I wanted so I said nevermind". They sent these anyway and charged me $69.99 for the small centerpiece. I ordered somewhere else assuming this was cancelled; for the same price received a big beautiful one. Not satisfied with Nelson's and will not order again."

One of the worst case of price gouging I've ever experienced. Ordered our daughter a corsage for graduation price?? $27.00! When picking up on day of graduation the so-called corsage was no larger than the size of a tiny boutineer at best. I guess because the graduation was also on Mother's Day weekend it opened up the opportunity to rip off the consumer. I would never mind paying for a quality product , but what Nelsons considers quality " is nothing short of ripping off the consumer My advice would be avoid Nelson and find a florist that will give you a fair product for the money"

Very disappointed with the flowers you sent to the funeral home. They were beautiful, but I specifically said no carnations, and you put carnations in the basket. Also, I thought it was going to be bigger then it was. There will be no next time!

I don't order flowers very often, but when I do, it's always from Nelson's. In all these many years, I have never been disappointed. My daughter sent me this gorgeous bouquet for mother's day, and I couldn't have been more pleased....so fresh and beautifully arranged! Thank you, Nelson's!

Bad experience. I did stop in about 20 minutes till closing and was looking for a dozen of assorted rose's. They did have an arrangement in the cooler, I was not impressed with it by first appearance. They said they could just replace a few of the rose's I didn't like at first but finally I was just like, why don't you just make me a new arrangement you have the flowers, yer a flower shop. The lady with the tattoos agreed at first but then proceeds to come back out like 2 minutes later and tell me she's going to give me a lesson on rose's and why these one's looked" wilted. It's because the "guard pedals" just looked bad they all come like that. I know this already

I went to Nelson's for all my wedding flowers recently and they did an amazing job. Cortney was so wonderful to work with throughout the entire process and she brought my wedding vision to life!! The bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres were all beautiful and I was so impressed with the quality of Cortney's work!! Thank you!

First time to place an order with this florist. They went above and beyond to accommodate me with my order. Being from the Plattsburgh area and now living in Florida I will continue to use them for all my floral needs. Courtney did a beautiful arrangement.

Beautiful bouquet , had bought for my in-laws after a sudden tragedy. I ordered the evening before and was delivered next day, only reason I’m removing a star I had sent emails in regards to when it would be delievered since it was nearing towards closing time. But glad they were delievered that day just wish I would’ve got a time estimate / reply back. Look how fluffy those yellow roses are though!
