Gaia Organic Seeds

Some really incredible and hard-to-find seed varieties are available here, as well as all the familiar staples. Bought seeds at an event in Guelph from Jer (sorry not sure of spelling!) who was very knowledgeable and helpful—Jer’s exceptional service is why I’m writing this review.Seeds look great, and 4 packets for $15 is fair pricing for the kind of varieties available. I appreciated that prices were even across varieties per packet, as this is not always the case.

Incredible selection of seeds of the highest quality, lots of unique varieties. I’ve been buying from them for the past 3 years and their seeds grow well and easily. Highly recommended.

I have been purchasing my plants from Gaia Organic Seeds for the past three years. Despite my lack of a green thumb, I have had zero plant failures! The variety is unmatched at any plant sale in Ottawa, and the owner knows his stuff. He's super helpful in the greenhouse and really friendly. This is a great local business that I am happy to support.

I just picked up some beautiful plants from Gaia on River road. Really great selection including special varieties I couldn't find elsewhere. Nice local business.

Gaia's organic farm is a rare gem that has so much selection to choose from, creating a new and exciting gardening experience year after year. Manish, the owner, is a 4th generation seed farmer; his attentiveness to my many questions is unparalleled as he educates the customer and gladly shares his knowledge. It's a great visit every time I go! I highly encourage anyone to go to the farm, it's a great visit every time!

I have a large (for a city backyard) vegetable garden and half of my vegetables are sourced from Gaia organics. great rates of germination and fantastic vegetables to harvest. love this beautiful operation and appreciate the people who run it.

Not impressed at all. Ordered a gift card but it was never sent. Did not receive a reply to my email message inquiring about it and nobody ever answers the phone. Had great experience last year but this year it is the pits.Still not received over a week later. Not acceptable.

Very poor, virtually non-existent customer service. Never return calls or messages.It took 2 months to receive 6 seed packets ordered for the 2023 planting season. Fulfilled with 2 packets from 2021, 3 packets from 2022, and 1 with no information at all other than a handwritten name of seed variety. A packet of seeds not ordered from 2021 was also included. As seeds degrade over time, this was an unacceptable fulfilment of the order and a refund was requested, per their online guarantee. There has been zero response to my refund request and follow ups. I offered to return the unopened packages.There are many reputable seed suppliers and I will not order from here again.

Would give zero stars if possible. Ordered seeds and paid extra for 2 day service, seeds have not shown up after 1 month. Contacted seller 3 times and no response.DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

Can't comment on the quality of the seeds themselves yet, but the lack of communication, the significantly delayed order, and paying close to $20 for Canada Post Expedited 1-Day shipping, only to have my order sent via UPS weeks later (and no response to e-mails questioning what happened) has me looking elsewhere going forward. If you're looking for good customer service and minimal issues, look elsewhere.
