Came here to see if the staff were friendlier than Velocity Cars and within a minute of meeting Ivan I knew he was the one.He let me test drive a couple cars, even though I was not buying that particular day (unlike Velocity)...After a couple visits I decided on the Toyota Aristo. This car has been superb. It's comfortable, fast, and easy to drive.The engine, tranny and turbos all seem to be functioning perfectly. The only issue I have come across was the rear tires were bald on the inside, and didn't realize this because the wheels had some camber and I didn't check the inside of the tires. The car also needed an alignment and rear brakes.Definitely check the inside of the tires, and make sure the car drives straight before you buy! Other than that I am pleased with my purchase.

I was referred to JDM to import a Japanese Daihatsu Hijet dump truck. Ivan was very helpful and patient with finding me the right truck for me to begin with. The entire process was easy and hassle free. I was very confident with Ivan’s performance.The mini dump arrived according from the given time and conditions. Ivan even helped me with ordering tow truck for delivery. Everything went well and smooth. Thank you Ivan.

This was my first experience with JDM and it has only been a week since I purchased a vehicle through Ivan. He was very helpful and open about the process. I wish I could give 4-5 stars because Ivan is awesome and has continued responding to my questions for months after purchasing my van. However, the van itself has already cost me over $6k in repairs and currently hasn't started in 2 months. I purchased the van less than a year ago and I don't think it's made it 5 months without being in the shop. Save yourself the money and headache by buying a Toyota van from dealer that does all their own work and will ideally continue working on your vehicle after you purchase it.

Finally found my dream vehicle!! I saw one of these Delica’s at a surf spot in Washington state 12 years ago and it was love at first sight. With the Canadian border closed, I had to buy this vehicle sight unseen, have it shipped across the border and just hope I made the right decision. I read all the reviews for JDM Import Ltd, and all the positive feedback from other people that purchased vehicles from Ivan.In my personal experience, Ivan was extremely helpful and timely in all his responses. Even when my local DMV required extra paperwork a month after I purchased the van, he was still just as helpful. The van is in great shape, pictures were accurate, and all customs paperwork was handled. After I picked up the van in Blaine, WA, I drove it over 500 miles to its new home without issue. 2 weeks later I took it off roading around our local sand dunes and it performed beautifully.I would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from this location. If I win the lottery, I would buy 4 more Delica’s in every color. It is truly an awesome off roading/surf/camp van! Thank you Ivan for making the buying process so streamlined.Update: The van is still going strong. It’s been to a concert in Bend, many off adventures, and a couple nights of camping. Very little maintenance has been needed. Still runs great!

I bought a car on auction with Ivan. He is very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to JDM imports. He is also very friendly and replies quickly. Even after the auction and I have received my car he was still helpful in recommending a great shop for inspection and how to get the car ready for inspection and still continued to reply quickly. I 100% recommend to buy through Ivan.

Purchased our Toyota Hiace from JDM Import in April 2018 and Ivan was a pleasure to deal with. He worked with us to ensure that all routine maintenance was completed with our purchase (timing belt, water pump, thermostat, fluids, tires, etc.) prior to our 18,000km road trip throughout the U.S, BC and AB, which we just completed without a single issue.We took the van over countless steep and windy mountain passes, up forest service roads, through Death Valley when it was approaching 50 degrees celsius, and much more. The van just kept chugging along without the slightest hint of hesitation. It still looks and runs like new. Just an amazing van and great business to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Ivan helped import this beautiful skyline from Japan right to my door in Ontario. Ivan was patient with me during the whole process with my many questions and made the transaction process very easy. The shipping company Ivan referred me to was able to complete the Vancouver to Ontario trip in 4 days.

Ivan was so communicative it was amazing. I flew into Washington for work and was car searching all over for about 2 weeks. Since they are located in British Columbia and I forgot my passport I was able to get everything done virtually, including a full inspection of the engine, under the car, interior and exterior as well as a virtual test drive. Ivan even let their mechanic do a 3rd party inspection for me to tell me what was good and what would need to be looked at the same day I requested it. Shipping the car to Blaine, Washington was only $350 more than the price tag of the vehicle and even though I ended up going another route I had to post this review. Will be going here when I get my passport in the mail just to check out the operation and say thank you for the service.
