100% the best. Thor's encyclopedic knowledge of every tree, bush and shrub is truly amazing, and in the 15+ years I've been dealing with Arbortech/Bartlett every single person that's come out for whatever various reasons has been courteous, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. My dad used these guys, to trim their back cedar bushes. They came in and hacked off the tops, ran out of fuel, and then dissappeared. Left cut branches in the trees and even tried to get my dads woman to load the branches they missed into the truck. Not very impressed!! Very unprofessional and one guy was full of attitude. What a joke.

We had both tree removal and stump grinding done. While they went pretty smoothly given how busy they are, I did have to constantly follow up to find out when they were going to do it.Most disappointingly is that they severed our irrigation. Accidents happen. I contacted them and apparently they already knew about it… I am not sure why they did not let us know. I have followed up a number of times to have it resolved and they still not have shown up in the time frame they gave us to repair it. Our initial work was done in November and now we are at the end of March.

We have used Thor Clausen and his teams several times over the past 6 years on our properties.The knowledge and professionalism is always top notch. Every year we use them for tree trimming (preventative maintenance program) in our Manufactured home park and around our resort.Removal of several trees and pruning of our bushes and shrubs.I can honestly say, we have never had any issues after the guys have left.

We found Bartlett trees to be very responsive to our calls, often they arrive hours or days before the scheduled time. The work is done in a timely and safe manner with the grounds being left uncluttered and cleared. We will be using them again in the future. And I would recommend him highly.

Excellent communication. They show up when promised and advise you if they will be late. If you don’t need an additional spray, they tell you that. The other companies I dealt with all want you to pre-pay whereas Bartlett bills you for only services rendered after completion.

COMPLAINT:Bartlett Tree Experts is totally disorganized! We have two dogs & for their safety, the gate needs to be kept closed. Twice the Bartlett Tree Experts technician who pruned & sprayed our trees, left the gate open. Luckily, the dogs didn't run into traffic.We asked that they phone before coming to ensure the dogs were inside & the gate was closed.Thor refused to service our trees, stating that we refused access to our yard.Requesting a call ahead to let us know which day they would service the trees, was too much for him.

I’ve had Bartlett staff work on my trees and shrubs two years in a row. I’ll recommend them to my friends. They offer old fashioned customer service with a smile. All the staff are helpful and friendly, but very professional and courteous. They actually asked if I was happy with the work. They did an excellent job and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. Such a high level of customer service is a rarity these days. Kudos to Bartlett!

We had Thor Clausen and his crew diagnose a problem with some infested polars, remove the affected trees, and grind the stumps last fall. This spring we had them source and plant three new large trees. Everyone was always very professional and helpful, it was a pleasure to work with this group of people. This was work we could not have done on our own. Worth every penny to have professionals handle it!
