There is an unacceptable amount of disconnect between the amount of available information, with evidence-based research, on addiction and mental health and the mental health centre of Saint John. It's bad enough that it's missing the main stream, but for health professionals it's ridiculous. People are needlessly suffering. It shouldn't be this difficult to get help for things as enormously common as ADHD, autism, trauma.. psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.. A CURE for ADDICTION??? That is indisputably a TOP priority for EVERYONE. When will Saint John catch tf up??

Good location good building

They ignore the abuse of children and create monsters. I hope every social worker working has something life destroying happen to them~!

I do work there for GNB. The building is kept clean,security are good and friendly, sometimes I feel like I'm in a maze.

I was at the Mercantile building for an appt with my counsellor. This is an amazing service to help people with issues like anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, etc...They also offer help in group settings for a number of things. Mental Health is only beginning to come out of the wood work.. It is an issue here in Saint John and all of New Brunswick. I'm not scared to say that I have battled with addiction and there are counsellors at the Mercantile building who are there to talk to, give feed back and options. I have anxiety and depression along with other issues that I'm able to work out and talk with someone because of the programs that Mental Health offers. It's truly a wonderful place. A hidden Gem that is slowly starting to shine bright. If you are looking for help with any issues, please contact them and make an appointment. It's free. Public Health Centre, both of the kids needed needles today. Staff were super friendly, wait was not long at all. They had coloring and other books there for the kids.

Well kept, modern layout

Receptionist is always super pleasant and attentive. The doctor actually saw me earlier than my appointment time which is a bonus. In past I've had some pretty negative experiences with wait times but in NB I have yet to run into this issue.
