The Oxtail is okay but accompanied rice and macaroni are so so. The Ackee & Salted Fish is Jamaican traditional food (as described on the menu) but I don’t like it’s favours, particularly it’s beans. The taste of the veggie Patty shell is also not good. Besides, the place is not clean, our napkins, which are used for the cutlery, have lots of food crumbs. There’s also room for the cafe to improve its services.

Awesome Jamaican restaurant!Had the jerk pork with rice and fried plantains along with a couple beef and chicken patties.Highly recommend the jerk pork. The meat falls off of the bone and just pops with flavor. Really tender and delicious.I would not have thought that I would like the fried plantains but, its a nice treat for this dish. Adds a nice sweetness.Jamaican patties were great. Love the flaky dough they used and the filling was awesome too.Definitely coming back to try their other dishes in the future!

The portions are small and expensive.I got the oxtail lunch meal which cost 21.50 and had barely any oxtail. The other one we got was ackee and saltfish which cost 19.50 and also barely had any protein in it.The beef patty I got looks and tastes exactly the same as a grocery store bought one except it costs 4 dollars. The presentation was pretty good though. The lowest setting on the tip was 18%. This was a little bit irritating after I had paid dinner prices but got lunch portions of food.Overall the meal was very carb heavy. I wish there was more oxtail and/or sauce to go with the rice. It was a nice experience but I can't recommend it because the portions were carb heavy and there was so little protein and sauce to go with it. I felt like I was paying for just rice and macaroni. The quality just isn't quite there, sorry.A beef patty, ackee and saltfish, oxtail meal, and 1 rum cake was 58 dollars. Not worth it imo.

Excellent food. Fresh and authentic. We hit the lunch rush but the food came quickly.Jerk Salad was proper spicy and the Beef Stew was super tender and yummy. It was served with rice and peas and a cold pasta salad that was all tasty.

Delicious food and atmosphere! Everything we ordered, we loved. It was a bit difficult to navigate to the side one-way street the restaurant is on, but there is parking out front. It looks like they sometimes have live music, which would be nice. We went late on a Wednesday night, but we were still able to order a full meal. Would eat here again.

Delicious food! Great service every time we dine-in. We always order their Jamaican Patties, Jerk Chicken & Oxtail! Definitely a place you want to check out if you’re in the area. Highly recommended!

A good overall dining experience, with a particular emphasis on the quality of the service. During my visit, the service was good, with attentive staff members who were able to meet my needs and answer all of my concerns. The ambience of the restaurant is average, meaning it provides a decent atmosphere but it doesn't standout in terms of design or decor. While the restaurant may not have an elaborate or unique atmosphere, it still provides a comfortable and pleasant space to enjoy some good times.Overall, if you're looking for a good dining experience with reliable service and a comfortable atmosphere, this restaurant is worth checking out. However, if you're looking for a more unique or memorable dining experience, you may want to consider exploring other options.

This one was a tough one to review. Unfortunately I came in on a Sunday, which is their brunch day. The food on that day is usually on for Sundays. I had the brunch menu with fish and chicken. My friend had the jerk chicken and rice. The food was a solid 7 out of 10. Wholesome and homemade feel to it. The setting was comfortable and reminiscent of the islands. The service was kind and warm. Definitely a great place if you haven’t had home cooked food in a while.
