Rideau Acres Campground

Incredible campground, feels like a great place to relax.They have a bunch of history and uniqueness.Renting boats, duck ponds, pool, events, breakfast on Sunday, little karts to drive around, you name it!Make sure you get a site by the water if you don’t need sewer.We really loved this camp ground, will definitely come again and stay a couple nights next time.

Stayed for a long weekend during K-town triathlon. Lots of room on the site and activities available for young and old. We will return......well we have returned to one of our favourite RV park.

We love this place! this is our 4th year visiting - stayed for a month and was sad to leave this morning. the place is clean, well kept and friendly staff. you have to go say hello to Greg (the boat rental guy). He's awesome!we stayed in the A section by the beach. it can get busy on weekends but well worth the view every morning. seasonal residents are friendly and welcoming. we met some lovely people. noise at night wasn't an issue. everyone shut it down by 11. which was appreciatedthere is plenty for our 7yr old daughter to do..beach, swimming, kayaking, fishing, park, feeding the ducks etc She was tired every night.the location is great for errands and playing tourist in Kingston. there's something for everyone.we're booked for next summer and can't wait to come back!

Nice Campground. Well organized and friendly staff. Water and electricity available on most sites. Nice little beach. Beautiful sunset. Was very comfortable. Great place to stay a few days.

We stayed at this camp ground because it's a 10 min drive to down town Kingston which is where we wanted to spend most of our days. The park is well maintained and the bathrooms were clean. The park has a pool, horseshoes, frisbee golf and nightly events like bingo and euchre. There is a small beach and a boat dock. Seems like a great place for family camping.

Rideau Acres hosted our beautiful winter wedding! Location is great! We rented all our decorations and all the set up was taken care of by the lovely Katie! Had a gorgeous ceremony in the mezzanine. Lot's of beautiful scenery around the venue for photos. A perfect space for dinner and dancing. Katie is absolutely incredible to work with and trusted her experienced advice and guidance. Thank you Rideau Acres Campground for such an amazing day!!

Campsite was clean, many birds, geese to amuse kids. . Otherwise.. Advertised lake and pool. Mid June and beach was already full of weeds. Pool was closed. Booked in February. Promised site beside grand children and promised that our group would be together. Group was spread out and my son was in another row even thought there were many empty lots around us. Mini putt was really old, broken with holes in it. No indication on how to follow Frisbee game route.

This is a beautiful campground. They have a mixture of seasonal, trailer and tent sites. Various sites accommodate electrical (30 or 50 amp) , along with water and sewer.The campgrounds are kept neatly groomed and clean.They can boast having a beautiful beach, children's park, a 9 hole Frisbee golf course, a goose/duck pond, a boat launch with large docks and a banquet hall for weddings.I would give it 5 stars, but at times you can hear the highway 401 and distant train.I loved our recent stay and will definitely be back again.

Wonderfull place.All types of sites to please everyone! Bathroom and showers are clean.Everyone is Nice and they let you live your best camping life ! Pool was really appreciated by the kids and they also have 1 hour a day for adultes only !Beach is Nice. You can rent boats and prices are really fair! (You can fish too!)The pond is magical with all those birds you can feed!You can watch the sunset up the hill (really small and easy hike) and wake up with your friend the rooster!That is True that you hear the train all day and late at night, but it doesn't wake you up!Be sure to try the foodtruck nearby (cash only) for delicious burgers and poutine (as Good as in Québec !)!You are 15 minutes out of kingston, so easy to go grocery shopping or to visit kingston pen or the beautifull waterfront, on ontario lake.Definitly not our last visit !
