I always enjoy coming here and grabbing an Ice Cream cone. Marina, who used to work there was very friendly and helpful.

Helpful staff at the information centre. Free boat launch. Good moorings for my 20 foot bowrider and a short walk to downtown Lakefield.

Lakefield is the quintessential 'small town Ontario' with its lovely lakeside mansions and quirky main Street with a mix of owner-operated and franchise shops. The municipal marina is friendly and inviting, and the staff is ready to assist in docking. Better still, they hand-scoop Kawartha Dairy Ice cream!You can walk up to the farmer's market , or into the village easliy.Historical note: HRH The Duke of York attended Lakefield College School

Stayed there with another couple for a night. The girls that work in the marina are nice and friendly. It is a nice small town.

Pretty, great views of the beach across the lake, too! The dock is a great way to view the lake... Ice cream on site. Picnic tables are also around to use. Wonderful flowers to look at.
