The owner is very friendly and approachable, but don't let his charm fool you. I got a raw deal as my car constantly kept breaking down. Numerous times I would bring my car home after servicing to find the problem was still there, on a few occasions it even got worse! They also didn't honour some work for which they gave a warranty. I'm out $10,000 on the work that they did on my vehicle, their warranty was bogus. I had the car checked out by another independent mechanic who said that he was doubtfull that Birkshire even performed the work in the first place. Having an older Land Rover, I’m pretty particular about where my truck goes.Birkshire has absolutely surpassed all my expectations. They are truly brilliant. They diagnosed my truck, told me exactly what was wrong with it and how it needed to be fixed, and carried out the repairs perfectly. My truck feels better than new today thanks to the birkshire team.I would highly highly recommend them for all your Land Rover / Range Rover needs and I’m glad I’ve found a place I can trust when it comes to taking care of my vehicle.

Drove almost two hours to have a jaguar specialist give me the wrong side marker light. Drove back down another almost two hours for them to tell me to dig out a snowed in vehicle so their guy could get the part off. I get the part and it’s already covered in electrical tape and has a cut down the inside of the plastic. What an absolute joke, waste of time, money, energy and effort. Do not recommend and will for sure not ever use again. Absolute clowns.

Had my first experience with my new Jaguar convertible and it was amazing. Very professional, Dan the manager updated me throughout the service, he was friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel like my car was in very capable hands. The results were incredible, my car looked brand new showroom condition. The service was performed as promised, I will only use Birkshire for all my Jags needs! Highly recommend!!

Brought my Range Rover for a tight steering issue, the manager Sam and I agreed on diagnostics of 3 hours then parts and an additional 1 hour install when the issue was known. The final invoice had 4.5 and 1.6 hours (plus parts). The 2.1 additional hours that were not requested by Sam nor authorized by me. I paid the invoice and spoke to Sam that there was no notice of the additional hours and no authorization was given for the additional time. Bought a rebuild rear differential for my Land Rover on line. The rear diff was defective. His initial suggestion was to bring my vehicle from Alberta to Ontario and he would fix it. He graciously offer to pay for shipping of the new repaired diff one way! Of course the differential was not defective it was my mechanics installation that was the problem. Very poor customer service and cost me double the amount to have my shop change out the defective differential. Never once did he apologize for the defective differential or my hassle. I think the words he used were “that’s not my problem”!Advice! Don’t buy an online product like a differential unless you live within driving distance.For all you Land Rover people that are dealing with their poor quality differentials, Order the repair kit on line and get a local specialist to help you.Cheers

I have now gone to Berkshire twice for maintenance on my Range Rover Sport and have both have wonderful experiences. Sam is wonder to work with and his staff is just as brilliant.The first time was to repair a door handle which they sources the part and had painted to match the color code of the truck. The second was for a last minute coolant shortage along with the air filter and cabin filter replacement. Very satisfied with all the work and communication. They accommodated me on my short times as I need to use my car to get to work.If you are kind, open minded and helpful to those who service your needs, you will be blown away by how helpful they will be to you. I highly recommend Birkshire Automobiles to those who fit this understanding!

Owner is very rude. He does not know how to hold a simple phone conversation / inquiry as a business owner with many competitors. Can only imagine the attitude once they have the vehicle in possession. From the start of the convo his tone was extremely rude. I asked him for the labour rate / hours required for a full brake job on a 2019 SVR. He was immediately quick to lecture me as if I’m a 5 year old. ‘We are not interested in taking this job, you cannot bring your own food to the restaurant.’ Totally fair statement but there is a way to talk and explain. He could have easily won my business by advising me in a more calm manner. I may have even gone to him for the parts. This is not the attitude to maintain in a competitive industry. If you don’t take my money and fix my brakes Mr. Berkshire, then someone else will! Lol! STAY AWAY!

My Jaguar was plagued by a very slow coolant leak issue from a long time. Went to multiple mechanics and didn't get any solution for that.Had a word with Sam and after a pressure test he found the leakage and fixed it in few hours.It was an amazing experience coming to Birkshire.I would highly recommend this place as these guys are very genuine and give you the right advice.
