True North Tree Experts Inc.

Called three weeks ago to get my trees treated for tent caterpillars. We were supposed to get a Bt spray, which has to go on the leaves and be eaten by the caterpillars. Twice this I was told they'd come spray the trees, and both times nobody showed up. No call. No communication. When I called them they had no idea what was going on and had to track people down just to find out. Now the caterpillars have left the trees and are all over the pala and house and garden and in the neighbour's yards, so it's too late to bother spraying the trees, since they're eating other things now and also forming cocoons. Bt won't help at this point. I've been very clear throughout the whole time what stage the caterpillars were at, and what was required, and what the necessary timeline was. They're subcontracting the Bt application, and can't get their subcontractor to bother to show up. I'm extremely annoyed that I wasted my time with this, and kept being given cheap excuses.

We had a challenging job of a very old maple that needed removal for safety purposes as it was dying but was precariously in the corner of the back yard bordering onto many neighbours properties. There were a whole lot of challenges with logistics-it was in the back corner of our yard, bordering on several neighbour properties with items like sheds etc. and other potential risks. Geoff and team managed to navigate through every single obstacle including ensuring approvals to take down the tree and communicating with everyone to secure a comfort level to get the job done successfully (first day was downpour out of nowhere, second day 30 degree heat and high wind etc.-but through it all his team were always friendly and hard working). I would highly recommend Geoff, Jackie, Trevor and the rest of the team. They did an amazing job. If anyone needs to see pics of their work I am happy to share as they also trimmed another healthy 100+ year maple tree and other trees in my yard.

Josh and Lee are amazing. They came on very short notice and did an outstanding job to to remove a tree I needed gone. They were super professional and tidy and went6out of their way to meet all of my needs and wants. I can recommend them highly and will need them6again soon.

I contacted True North to help my Aunt with some much needed tree removal. Within two days one of their experts arrived at her house, analyzed the situation, and provided a reasonable quote. A day later the trees were gone and the yard was left clean (to the point it was difficult to tell trees existed there in the first place). Geoff and his team were great to work with and I highly recommend them. The team showed up as scheduled, were extremely professional and efficient (they removed 2 large dead ash trees on a steep ravine behind our house as well as pruning 2 other trees on our property). Throughout the process from quotation to completion Geoff was extremely responsive to any questions we had and he took the time to followup to ensure the job was done to our satisfaction. Geoff at True North is very knowledgeable. He came out to consult on some trees in our yard and gave us excellent advice. He was prompt to arrive, and gave us all the information we needed via email quickly. Their quotes are super competitive as well. We learned about True North through our neighbours who used them for a job and I would highly recommend them!

I had two large ash trees that needed to be removed as they were dying. My backyard is only accessible by going up and down 14 steps and they removed both trees via this manner. They cleaned up the backyard before leaving. All of the men were polite and courteous and very professional. I 100% recommend True North Tree Experts Inc., should have need of tree removal.
