Food was amazing! Service definitely needs some improving. We had to ask more than 3 times for the rest of our order and it was not busy.

I asked for no eggs on one of my two rolls and they wrote a note that they didn't know if I wanted eggs on the other roll so they put them on the side! Great service!

We ordered Party Tray D (shown in pic, minus a few pieces already eaten). It was all delicious. We also ordered mixed tempura was great.

Food was good. Service was not good at all. They took forever to take our order so I had to flag them down. There were four of us but they only gave us 2 settings at a table for four and no side plates for our party platter. Asked for side plates, they brought 2! My two young boys were so confused. Then when we could finally flag them down again to get the other two side plates we were almost done. It made us feel like we were putting them out asking for basic utensils to eat our food. We had run out of water and then again had to flag them down to get refills. It was super annoying. Maybe they were understaffed or something else is wrong, I don't know.

My bento box lunch was good and great price...$12 with miso soup! Udon noodle soup was also tasty...we will return.

Food was really good and prices are fair. I like the bento boxes, a little bit of everything for your taste buds yummie! Also one time the chef made a special roll I requested that wasn't on the menu. Great place!

Staying at a near by motel on the road home. This restaurant was in the parking lot.The food was excellent, as was the service! Prices are reasonable, and the servings were HUGE!HIGHLY recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Merrit.
