Based off a phone call and quick visit the salespeople are so friendly and helpful. The leather goods are so nice and there is a large selection of leather products. I love businesses that don't hesitate to recommend another business and this place did that as they don't deal with the kind of fur repair I needed. They have custom services and I would definitely return here.

Best place ever. The women who work there are so nice, and everything is reasonably priced PLUS they do custom orders. I'm obsessed with this store (that I just randomly discovered today). Vintage deadstock takes up the entire second floor. Can't wait to go back.

I went here for getting my mink oil for my leather boots and they have a lot of options. And the young guy at the cashier was very knowledgeable and helpful

This place is massive you’ll find any type of leather you have in your mind or you could ever imagine from Brazilian leather to Italian leather to furs And more. If you’re into leather craft that’s the best place for you to pick up your leather hides or if you want a real leather jacket or a fur coat also that would be the right place to be.

Great place! Been on King St. for a long time, but only recently went in. Staff was SO friendly and knowledgeable and perfectly resolved my leather issue. Definitely would recommend!

I brought my leather jacket in to get altered. It was too tight at the stomach and chest area. We picked a leather piece that was almost identical to my weathered jacket. The alterations done turned out to be perfect for my taste. The jacket is now comfortable to wear and the alterations done blends in well to my weathered jacket. I posted a photo of my blue leather jacket. You casee that the alterations done on the sides blend in well to the jacket. Thank you again.

Penelope and her staff are top notch, personable, professional, accountable, accommodating, honest, and down-to-earth - qualities that are in short supply these days with corporate retailers. I had a clasp that broke off my hand wallet. Penelope had me go to a local leather & sewing supply store in the neighborhood to find a clasp that would be a suitable substitute. She graciously allowed me to park in her lot while I sourced the replacement hardware. Once I found the replacement hardware, it took less than a minute, and I was on my way! I also had a belt that needed shortening; however, Penelope suggested that I check with a shoe repair shop first, since my belt was of a certain style that she did not want to change if I wanted to retain it, as shoe repair shops have a different type of machine that can sew through the type of stitching that is on my belt. Love her honesty and opinion! Overall, I was treated with courtesy and respect. A very positive experience! It's also a family-owned business - 50 years(!!), and I feel great that I was able to give her my business. Also, if you're in the market for just about anything leather, etc., you must check this place out!! If I had more time and money, I would have scooped up a few items there! Thank you for the great service!!

I recently heard Penelope interviewed on CBC and was impressed by her commitment to repairing leather goods when so much of our world is considered disposable. I rushed over with 3 sheepskin coats that were torn and in rough shape, but that I love. The staff were amazing at finding a way to repair everything at a reasonable cost. The workmanship was beyond my expectations and I’m thrilled to have coats that now have many years of enjoyment and warmth to come! It was also a pleasure to meet Penelope in person when I picked up my coats. Everything about Perfect Leather Goods is top notch!
