I called many appliance service companies to come take a look at my washer that broke down. Not only were they one of the only few that answered or called me back, they were the first one to be readily available. Doug came the next day to inspect my broken down washer. He gave it to me straight and told me it wasn't worth paying him to fix it compared to what I could buy another unit for. He told me that he had a similar unit for sale and welcomed me to take a look. We went and loved the unit and they even gave me a bit of a deal considering what we had just went through. To top it off, they offered to deliver it and install it that same day. From start to finish, I called for service and had a new unit installed within 24 hours. I felt like they actually cared about our situation and did what they could to help. They didn't try to just make money along the way. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks again! Kelly.

******** UPDATE: Since posted, the owner of the company has contacted me, come to my house to repair the dishwasher and has found and fixed the issues that caused problems. He tells me he is also adressing the customer service issues I had. See below original posting.Extremely poor Customer service and did not fix problemI brought my dishwasher in May. Dropped it on a Thursday or Friday because of low pressure problem (Glasses on top rack barely get splashed). They did not have me sign any paperwork or anything, did not note the problem. The tech told me he would look at it on Monday. A week later I still did not get any answer. They told me they were waiting for a part and would not call me back despite many requests.After a week and a half of no answer, I decided to show up to the place to get an answer. They told me they would have it fixed the next day. I came to pick up the next day, they told me they had changed the gasket. I asked about the pressure and the tech told me he was not aware of that problem!!! There never was a part to come, they just made that up to stall. They never wrote down the problem, and no one had bothered to phone me to ask what the problem was.I had to leave the dishwasher another day to be told that they could not find any problem with the dishwasher. They only gave me some dishwasher tips and tricks (That part was somewhat useful, but I could have gotten that on any youtube video).After $110.00 I paid for the gasket, the problem has not been fixed. After trying the dishwasher for two months, it is no better than before I left it there. In all my dealing with them, they only phoned me once, despite many pleas to call me and give me an update.This repair store has extremely poor customer service and wasted my time and money without fixing the problem

The oven door on our gas range fell off five days before Christmas. All the service people I called could not come because they were booked into Jan. All that is except Doug from Arrow appliances. He too was booked into Jan. but came out anyway. That's what I call going the extra mile!! Thanks to Doug our Christmas will not be ruined. Thanks again Doug.

Doug came out to look at a 4 year old fridge. He very confidently misdiagnosed the issue costing us $900. When the fridge still didn’t work he was hands off and asked us to call an LG tech. The tech easily diagnosed the issue, reversed Doug’s questionable work and fixed the fridge properly. Doug is now refusing our calls, and ignoring voicemails & emails for a conversation regarding a refund.We haven’t given up yet.Overconfident and so unprofessional. Admitting mistakes and being accountable would help his business more than a disappearing act ever will.

Took multiple attempts to confirm date/time of service call. When service call was completed, was told that the issue had to do with electrical and not the dishwasher itself. Paid for an electrician to come out and was told there was nothing wrong with the electrical. Called Doug back and he stated he would go back to the property and inspect dishwasher again. After several messages and no response have decided to use a different company. If a secondary service call could not be completed, it would be good customer service to at least call back. Will not use Arrow Appliance again and would not recommend to others.

Had Doug look at a fridge freezer problem. He misdiagnosed the problem and the part needed. He never conducted any tests.Psychic?New part he installed did not solve the problem. Messages left. Phone calls were not returned. I do not recommend and would never use again.Think twice before you roll the dice !

I have to preface my review by stating that Doug seems to be a very nice, well-intentioned person. That said, and based on my 4 month ordeal with him, I would strongly urge people to AVOID using Arrow Appliance.Simply put, as other reviewers have said, Doug misdiagnosed the problem right at the start - in fact, he didn't really technically analyze the issue at all before erroneously concluding what was required. (Hence the 4 month wait!). To make matters worse, Doug is an extremely poor communicator, so we ended up having to make multiple phone calls to try to understand the almost never-ending delays and no-showed" on at least one occasion without even bothering to let us know that he wouldn't be coming.Doug always seemed to be rushing off to see other customers but

Hi we had Doug of Arrow appliance come to service out 2 year old Maytag washer after looking at it for a few moments he said it needed a replacement part which would be with taxes 700 . He advised us to replace . Issue 2 our northlands commercial grade all fridge . I asked if he knew a refrigeration service fellow he looked at it said to unplug and wait 24 hours replug in . It is not getting cold enough. Said it may have a leak or it could be a part he pointed to a white part said this may be the problem if it gets cold after 24 hours . Amazing to me how one can diagnose an appliance without a sort of testing. Well it did get cold ( then warm again ) I called him back to inquire as to the part he had suggested , he came right over . Then he said basically nothing . Just wanted payment . Said he would phone northlands and went on about Viking and how he was a service guy exclusively for Marvel.In essence if Doug can see you live in a nice home he is there with his hand out although we still have a fridge that does not work . Doug promised to call northlands and Viking not sure why Viking and get back to us on both occasions . I called northlands myself and they have all parts for our refrigerator other than compressor . Doug says compressor works fine. Doug has never called northlands or called us back . I guess I could call him again and he will be there right away for a payment he takes CASH by the way.My take I believed this guy althoughI thought something was wrong and called him back after fridge did cool to see if he could repair . Doug talks a big Talk does not Walk the Walk . Do yourself a favour do not call this Con Man . I am going to a call someone else and see and will repost the outcome. MONEY not well spent .

This family business is fantastic! Our 30 year old fridge quit on Sunday, so I called Doug Monday morning. He drove 60 km to Vernon to check it and had a rebuilt one in its place by 4pm! Love these guys!!

We had Arrow Appliance come out to attempt to repair an issue that was clearly described prior to their attendance. Their technician attended, ordered a part and reattendes to install it. The same issue arose immediately afterwards. We called and reported this, had them return and were essentially told it was us not using the range properly - even though we hadn't had this issue in 3 years of using the range. Very poor customer service and range is not repaired. Would not only not recommend, but would recommend against.
