We've been customers at Sofram for many years, but the last takeout shawarma dinner was terrible. It didn't taste like shawarma at all, it didn't look like shawarma at all, more like leftover chicken skewers chopped into small pieces.Also the salad had spoiled vegetables.

The food was cooked well and seasoned well but something about it was off. I will say I would consider coming again if someone around me wanted to go. 7/10.

Disappointed. We used to go here all the time and it used to be awesome. A friend mentioned it has changed but we decided to give it a try since we haven’t had it in a little while. Ordered for delivery. Rice has way less veg than it used to, shawarma was dry especially because the size of the tahini barely is enough for 1 meal (we ordered an extra and still wasn’t enough). Falafel was tasty but dry. Lentil chicken soup is so much more watered down now. Somehow we got 6 pita. I’m not sure why as there was no condiments to use them for. Overall not worth the $80 we spent.

I have been living in the neighborhood since 2004 and we have ordered often from this place before and after it changed it's name. However, after the last pickup we are done with Sofram. The person taking the order was incredibly rude, the order is rarely right, food quality dropping while prices are way up.We ordered several dishes but for some reason the simplest, falafel sandwich was dry, filled with lettuce instead of what I had asked for, there was little to no tahini ( i asked for extra) It was like eating dry cardboard, worst falafel of my life. I ordered a small coleslaw. It tasted like it was 5 months old and gone bad. Almost vomitted.This place was good once upon a time but I think it changed owners when it changed it's name. Perhaps they don't understand that there are many Middle Eastern restaurants in the area. Your staff treating people like garbage and thinking they can serve them expired or poorly prepared food isn't going to work out well. Overall cost : $80 with tip.First time visiting this place. Went to the thornhill location around 2 pm. I guess we went there when there was no table service or perhaps their system is different from other regular joints. So we had to order at the counter and pay for it and tell them if we are eating in or taking out. We paid and told the girl we are eating in. No issues so far. The girl was patient and explained the menu and the combos and tone was friendly and pleasant.The only issue? When we got our food, they decided to pack it for take out even though we told them, we are seated at a certain table and would like to eat in. Guess the couple of servers available at the time didn’t want to serve us? Created a lot of hassle as they had packed everything in plastic containers and we only had plastic cutlery. We ended up eating in in the plastic containers.The food was not bad, although I had asked for my lamb to be medium and I think they made it well done or at least that’s what I felt with the texture. The bread we got was really soft and I really loved the hot mushrooms with humus. The falafel with rice was not bad but nothing special about it. The place is very clean and it’s got ample parking as it’s in a plaza.Overall I came out of the place with a rather bad taste in my mouth with regards to the whole experience but I would def not discourage anyone from visiting this place and try it out if they are inclined for some Mediterranean food and if they can’t find any good Greek alternatives around.

Food is just alright. The prices are quite high. 25$ for a chicken schnitzel with 1 side and house salad. The side was pretty bad in my opinion. 1 kafta kebab for 20$ with extremely plain rice and house salad. The kafta tasted exactly like the burger meat from Harvey’s weirdly enough. The salad dressing was the best part of the meal by far. We got 1 piece of pita bread we had to share among 2 people. 1 pita per meal seems fair, no? It’s just very underwhelming for the price. A very average meal that was kind of bland. 1.99$ extra for Israeli salad instead of house seems like a money grab. 3$ for a can of coke is also a lot. Just a meal you eat and go, well it was food. I wouldn’t recommend here for the price or quality.

Have been eating here for years, but the prices have got to the point where it is no longer reasonable to eat here. $26 for a Chicken Greek salad, although a decent size, is getting to be rediculous!

Very disappointing experience today . Food more expensive , I get it . Portions much smaller . I understand. But the customer service was ridiculous. Front worker did big favour of handling me the bags with my takeout . No hello , no thank you - nothing . She was expecting me to thank her ??? Really ? Very upsetting . I am customer there from their first week of opening . And it never was so bad .

I like Sofram,But they used to be much better!Especially on the dine-in side, I haven’t done that in a while, the place doesn’t look as inviting as it once used to! So I do get my takeout orOrder through a third party delivery app,Overall the quality didn’t drop much, but a tiny bit!But all in well, they make the best beef and lamb skewers!

Horrible customer service. I placed a pick up order called them to tell them they gave me the wrong order and so they tell me they will re make it and if I can pick it up and then I ask them can you deliver and they say yes annoyed and then call me back not to talk about the money they owe me for charging me the wrong order but to ask for the food they gave me incorrectly back. How disgusting instead of saying I’m sorry which THEY didn’t they want their food back. Awful customer service and rude employees. I have been going to their dine in for years but tonight’s interaction was so disappointing I won’t be going back.
