Harv and his staff are excellent. Best garage in town. Second to none. I have taken my wife's Expedition, Shelby GT500 and Mustang to Harv for brakes, tires, rad work ++++. Harv is enthusiastic and passionate about his work - and it shows. Hopefully you never have to see Harv - but it has always been a great experience when I have had to. Good mechanics are hard to find. Harv's oepration is Number 1 in Waterloo.

I have been using Van Holst for over 15 years and have always been more than satisfied with their services. The very competent staff go above and beyond and are very thorough.Van Holst maintains and services my fleet of trucks for my business and has also worked on a variety of other vehicles I have owned including a 1966 Volvo, 1971 MGB,, 1975 MGB, 1987 Jaguar.I am always glad to refer new clients to them!Before buying a used vehicle I highly recommend an inspection by Van Holst before you purchase as I have done in the past.

I am beyond satisfied. I have had emergency situations twice since July 12 where I needed my vehicle fixed quickly. Once for power steering ad once for my transmission. Both times I was taken care of promptly and shown consideration and courtesy.They may not know it, but they have now become my home mechanic. I will be helping to keep them in business with my money. I trust them.Highly HIGHLY recommended.

I am very pleased with the work done by Van Holst Automotive. They were hard-working, efficient and professional through the whole process. My GMC Acadia had issues with the AC and they had it fixed within a day. Their prices are more than fair, and they're genuinely good, honest people. I would trust them for all my car needs.

I’ve had several positive experiences dealing with Von Holst Automotive. Great communication and customer service, and I feel like they are fair and honest in their pricing. They only replace what needs to be replaced, and any time I have gotten multiple quotes for a service requirement, Von Holst has always been the economical option. Upon arriving today, I was warmly greeted by the technician moving vehicles around in the parking lot, and Harvey provides amazing customer service. I’d recommend you try Von Holst for your next automotive service requirement, service really is top notch!

Absolutely the best! They repaired a noisy Mazda driver’s seat by replacing one part. It could have been a costly motor replacement for the seat at other places. If you need a trustworthy, honest, and reasonably priced repair or maintenance, use Van Holst!
