Canada Permanent Building
Built in 1910 this is Edmonton’s best example of Edwardian Baroque style building. For many years recently it was the Japanese Village restaurant and now it is vacant. Hopefully a good tenant will be found. I work downtown and see the building quite often and it’s sad to see it closed up. Fortunately it’s right beside the McLeod building so it fits well where it is.

Great peace of history hopefully some one someday restores it and makes it look cool!
