I've finally learned my lesson after going to this doctor 4-5 times. I've waited 60-90 minutes consistently, despite booking an early appt for exactly that reason, regularly extending my parking on the mobile app, and spending $$$ on parking. At the most recent visit, the doctor only arrived at the clinic 35 minutes AFTER my appt was set to begin. The technician told me 3 times at least your other eye works" when conducting the intake eye test - I have a longstanding eye injury in my other eye. So rude and invalidating. One time I even showed up for my scheduled appt only to be told there wasn't an appt that day

I want to give a zero but there’s no zero. The wait time is at least from 30 minutes onwards. You have to complain for her to keep moving. Once I was scheduled first thing in the morning, she already came in half an hour late and had to wait for another 20 minutes or so. This is ridiculous. As a patient, I feel disrespected of my time and my effort to come early for an appointment. Patients have other things to do in life and not spend our entire time waiting.

I've been coming here for a few years now and it's always the same story (and looks like the same for everyone else too). You will see the doctor roughly 1.5 to 2hrs after when your appointment is supposed to start. The waiting room is packed even during COVID times, leading to overflow into the hallway. The staff seem like nice people but in a challenging situation. I'm writing this as I'm waiting for my appointment to begin and it's already been 90 minutes of waiting now. This will be my last visit here as I'm going to look for another doctor elsewhere.

Totally disrespectful of peoples time. This is my third time here and every time it averages 2-3 hour wait despite being on time for your appointment. Totally ridiculous and with Covid proper protocols are not even in place. The wait is overflowing to the elevators, she’s 2-3 hours backed up. System is inefficient and needs to book more sparsely. Unacceptable, wish I could give this a negative rating

This office is run very poorly. The wait time is ridiculous. No matter in what part of the day your appointment is, you end up waiting over an hour or two. Very disappointing and disrespectful towards patients. There is a lot of space for improvement.

Clearly this doctor overbooked patients. Isn't there a limit on how many patients can a doctor see in a day? Everytime my mom has an set appointment we still have to wait from 1.5 - 2 or even longer. Really ridiculous and the parking is not cheap either. The last time we were there we waited for more than 2 hours and my mom was only seen for 5 mins. What kind of service she's offering to her patients? This doctor should be audited.

Whoever is running this place is a joke. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I waited for an hour and a half in the waiting room. Everyone around me was getting restless because they had waited so long they had missed other appointments and errands they needed to do that day. The staff is clearly put in a difficult situation as they can’t do a whole lot. After waiting almost 2 hours, I asked reception if I could have the key to the bathroom. Reception looked nervous and told me “if the doctor calls you and you aren’t here, she’ll just move on”. Which is absurd, I wouldn’t need to go to the bathroom if I hadn’t waited for so long! I waited 2 hours for the doctor but she couldn’t wait 5 minutes?? Once I finally saw her (the doctor) she was rude and rushed me the whole appointment. She ignored my questions several times. She also kicked me out of her office and told me to “go back and wait in the waiting room” when I told her that I was neither Mr. nor Mrs. (I’m neither gender and my ID reflects this as well). So she clearly feels irritated by trans or gender non-confirming patients. Don’t bother going to this place, I don’t even know how it’s still running.

I've seen Dr. Macintosh 3 times now over the few several months and I've found her to be knowledgeable and caring. She is a generalist with plenty of experience and a good network, she is able to refer you to a more specialized eye doctor if required.I am not really sure why there are so many negative reviews... It's true that the wait times can be long, but this is the same for any eye doctor office. If you are having eye dilation drops put in they schedule your appointment at least 30 min ahead of the actual time you will see the doctor to give the drops time to work. If you are short on time be sure to schedule your appointment for first thing in the morning.

This is the worst service ever! It deserves 0 out of 5 stars. Few times, we came in early morning for my mother’s appointment before the clinic opened. She was around 2nd - 4th person. After waiting for few minutes, she got a quick eye exam & eye drops. Then waited for another 1-2 hours for meeting the doctor. Appalling wait times were immense and curt manner! These receptionists were incompetent, rude and unfriendly. Also, Dr. MacIntosh mostly arrived late, and she was highly unprofessional and disrespectful. She didn't care or apologize to her patients. Anyways, she eventually met my mother for just few minutes. Totally wasted of our time for waiting so long. At last, we decided to go different ophthalmology clinic which is way much better than this.

Disgustingly bad experience, DO NOT see this ophthalmologist. I want to give zero stars but I am forced to pick one at least. The staff in the office is poor, and you will for sure wait for hours for your appointment even if it's first thing in the morning because they pack in too many appointments, but what is really bad is the experience of seeing this ophthalmologist herself once you are called. Rude and dismissive. Unprofessional. Lacks empathy or emotional intelligence. And the kicker - if you ask too many questions she will get mad at you, get up, open the door and wait for you to leave. Wow, just wow, such a terrible experience. Patients are scared because they have some concern with their vision, one of the most important things, and how they are treated is just insane. If you have been referred to her, don't go, just ask for another referral. You will be glad you did.
