I had been to the lab on Friday Feb 07th, 2023 around 7.10 in the morning. The phlebotomist unable to find a vein on my right hand although, I shown her a vein. She poked the marginal thin vein. She tried to manipulate but unable to get sample. She tried on left hand and again I shown her the vein. I told her that since long time, I am coming over here. Ultimately she took, the sample from my forehand. It was a painful experience and got a big bulge at the site. After 24hrs a large hematoma appeared on the skin. It was not a good experience.

I would give them a 0 star if I could the one star is not deserved. I took my elderly mother there 4 times to get blood work and everytime they were closed, still unable to get her blood work done, they seem to be closed more than they are open. Always a note on the door being closed for a week. Absolutely ridiculous, no consideration to the client.

My health card name (legal) did not match with my requisition name (preferred name). I understand that their rules do not allow them to proceed with the test. One of the staff members was rude to me in informing the same and did not care to listen to what I was saying. The other staff near the desk seemed polite.The wait time was really very less compared to other locations (I visited at 8 am on a Wednesday ) though I couldn’t complete my test for above reasons.

Monday I checked in on the web - the site said I had a wait time of 37 min. At the right time, I arrive, and I am told that the wait time will be 45 minutes. The lady at the desk was able to tell me the checkin site is not operated by her company, and checking in before arriving had no benefit. Because I arrive at 3PM, and the room was full, I decided to try another day. This business has some serious issues, I wont bother trying to use them again.

My first time at this lab and until now I didn't know it was so close to my place. I was in and out within 5 minutes. Courteous staff. Excellent service. Certainly do all my lab work here instead of going elsewhere.

The line outside Dynacare moves fast enough (and it is for COVID safety), however the distance between spots isn’t clearly marked and no one is enforcing people in line staying distanced or wearing masks.(Note: This is pertaining to Saturday, where appointments aren’t required)In terms of service it was fast, no qualms, no arm bruise and the results came in on time for my appointment- however one day later than expected.If it weren’t COVID this location may have received 5 stars.

Don’t waste your time, try a company other than Dynacare.Dynacare has an online registration system which gives you an expected wait time. I made my way to the clinic and arrived 10 minutes before the expected time, only to find that the expected time started increasing and increasing. I left when it reached an hour. Attendant says two people finished their shifts. Pretty silly of Dynacare to pretend that they have an online registration system that saves clients’ time, when it doesn’t reflect their working conditions.
