I don't get the bad reviews (apparently people didn't win their appeal). My experience with the staff was that they were polite, respectful, and friendly. I was really nervous about the appointment, but they treat everyone very well and it seems like they sincerely want to help.

Excellent experience with dealing with these people. I received my 6 demerit points back and the $100.00. The individuals are very helpful and understanding. Well worth the time and money.

Even the roads were pretty bad, no soil and salt. They told me you are responsible and 6 demerit points. Dont live in Saskatchewan they dont care for your safety.

my collision happened in feb 2020. For the whole of 2020 they kept cancelling the dates of education program because of Covid and I had no idea when they required me to complete it.I had a hearing today. I was apparently supposed to complete driver safety education video by december 31st 2021 but SGI did not send me any mails for about 11 months and they accepted that . I told this to Jurors but still they made their decision that I was in the wrong.. If you want my money, I’ll donate it to you but don’t rob me. They denied me even when I comply with Impoundment type: unauthorized driver section (d).

Don't bother making appeals unless you have some sort of video proof.Their goal is to make sure you get a no, and they get money.To even begin my meeting, the main questioner talked to me like I was lying the whole time. Talked to me as if the decision was already made, but listening to me was a procedure.They don't do any research in their decisions, and can know nothing about the area of incident. No matter how many points you make against it, they won't look into it, they make a decision in 5 minutes.

Don't waste your time and money appealing SGI's poor judgements. The people who review your case speak and act as though they have never driven a car before. It's a cash cow for them to disregard the facts and deny your appeal. Crooks.

I wish I could give them 0 or even -1…terrible government department, they do not care about your money or time. I was charged 6 demerit points for truck jackknife, I submitted video which clearly shows that road was clear and all of sudden there was black ice patch on the road, they still believe that I am responsible for this and I was not driving on caution, even though my speed was 62 mph in 70 mph. They saw 2 small cars passing me from other lane and said they did not skid how come your truck skid…don’t they understand difference between car and semi truck loaded with 80 k lb load on the road.Shame on you guys….What you want??? You want us(truck drivers) to stay home when it’s bad weather, who is going to deliver you food..they are RACIST….they did this to me because I am brown…you motherfukers…we contribute in the economy too…shame on you…Useless…waste of money…they are not different from SGI…all same..they all want to rob you…you loose points and money…

Absolutely horrendous process and a waste of time. They will find any reason to determine that you're at fault, regardless of all extenuating circumstances. Don't bother appealing any deductions in safety ratings with this clown show.

Don’t book the appeal unless * u have something out of the ordinary in your case happend otherwise your are wasting your money . They are not gonna do anything about it .
