Sturgeon Creek II Retirement Residence

My brother and I visited Sturgeon Creek II kind of in a panic. Our 86 year old Mom had fallen and broken her leg and could not return home.Santana met with us and calmed all of our fears. She met with us, showed us around, told us all the options available. We were desperate for a place and Santana went out of her way to ensure we had a safe option for Mom as soon as she was released from hospital.Mom had to spend a couple nights in the courtesy suite while hers was being painted. Santana ensured, along with other staff, that Mom was safe and comfortable from the moment we wheeled Mom into the building.Mom is now in her suite,She LOVES her new home. She reports the food is great and the people at her table, that Santana personally chose for her, are very nice!Thank you for being there for our family! We hope Mom has many happy years in her new home!!Thank you Santana for continuing to care for my Mom.

A number of our friends and family have been part of the Sturgeon Creek II community. The staff provide caring, personalized attention to the residents. We all feel that we are part of a caring community, jointly ensuring comfort, safety and dignity for our seniors.

I chose Sturgeon Creek II for my mom in 2016. It is absolutely top notch. The entire staff is amazing, They are professional, friendly and compassionate. They consistently provide extra special personal attention that makes this assisted living facility a home.

My mom. Muriel Captain, was a resident at the Sturgeon Creek II from June 2016 until May 2018. She loved her suite, the friends that she made, and the friendly caring staff. Unfortunately mom had a number of strokes, but the care and understanding that she received from the staff and home care workers was exceptional. Our family is very grateful that mom was able to spend her last years in such a wonderful environment. Thank you

The management and staff at Sturgeon Creek place 2 are the best! They take time out of their busy days to meet and greet everyone. Every resident is treated like part of the family.My mother has been treated so well there! Anytime she comes down to the desk, she is greeted with a smile, and treated so respectfully by all the folks that work there! She loves the meals, and the suites are very nice as well.Thank you so much Michael and crew for making my mothers life a little brighter!

I have only been here since September (16) and the residence definitely deserves more than 5 stars. The facility offers excellent amenities to make living here a joy; excellent cuisine, the friendliest staff anyone could experience, recreational opportunities if you are a shopper or in house programs if you are not a shopper (like me), and the opportunity to celebrate your Faith on the premises and off the premises. Good neighbours are a Blessing and that is definitely found here. .... Gary.

My 92 year old Mother moved into Sturgeon Creek 6 months ago. The overall team, led my Michael Hart, have made a significant difference for my Mom and our family. The staff give exceptional care on all levels. There is a nurse on duty. Meals are freshly made daily. There are many activities. Most of all is the feeling of family you get when you walk in. It's everywhere. True caring! They truly have made a difference for my Mom and our family. Thank you Sturgeon Creek II.

You should think about mentioning in your tours that Homecare is present in the premises too since a lot of the residents are homecare clients anyway. This should be one of your selling highlights too. My mother in law is adamant about moving in because she thinks since it’s an assisted living place, everybody is independent and doesn’t need homecare unlike her. You can use their presence to get more potential residents to consider moving in there in the future.
