Grew up on Ukrainian food, and this is a sad attempt at it. Confusing order options and maybe using cheemo perogies? Sausage also wasn't very good. Not at all happy with this whole experience and wouldn't order again.

Definitely could be better or easier ordering wise. But the nice lady helped me through and the food was delicious especially after only having the typical fast food for the past week. Went back for seconds. Highly recommend

Yesterday I went to Kingsway Mall, the and thought I'd try Ukrainian, the lady working stood in the back for 10 mins not acknowledging I was there so I walked away and ate else where, today I seen different people working so I stood there waiting for my order to be placed the lady who was working was rude , impatient and I felt like I was being rushed on what to order , the food wasn't the best for the price . I would not recommend this location.

Came here this morning and got 4 items. I really enjoyed and lady was very nice to me. I been here many times and I always enjoyed it.I liked the sausage and cabbage roll <3

Grabbed perogies and cabbage roils to go. Prices weren't bad, but the food was BLAND! Not bad persay, because I'm not sure food can taste bad if it has no flavor. But it was certainly disappointing. I don't think I'll be back, given the other options in the food court.

Husband and I were thrilled to find Ukrainian food in a food court, something you never see in Calgary!! Most Ukrainian spots seem to close early so we figured we’d give it a shot and weren’t disappointed. Good, simple comfort food at its finest, we had the meatballs, cabbage rolls, kielbasa and perogies. We loved the sauerkraut and the dill flavoured ones!!

I used to live in Edmonton and my friends and I were talking about our favourite restaurants. When I brought up Shumka, everyone agreed! I lived on Jasper Ave and had to take 3 buses to get there, but it was well worth it. Now I live in the US and it would be several more buses I'd have to take, but I'll tell ya what: it would be worth it. The food is delicious, abundant and fresh. Someone is using their Baba's recipes and it shows.

This place was the epitome of robbery. The cashier woman did a poor job at explaining how their menu worked, what items costed extra, etc. I ended up paying a steep price for a meal I didn't know would cost that much due to the extra cost" of certain items. Plus
