Matrix Remediation

Very professional and on time. 24 hour service with immediate response.Called for an inspection on Sunday and they were at my place the very next day on time in the morning.Definitely recommended.

Had them inspect 3 areas of our house for mold. They found mold in all 3 and provided a quote for almost $3000. Had another experienced provider come in - they said that there was no mold. They also showed up on the wrong day (early, but not when we were expecting them).

A few years ago we had a mold issue. Recently we had some concerns and contacted Matrix for a consultation. Jonathan Tarves came within 24 hrs and provided a 1 hour inspection and consultation offering his professional opinion. He was very attentive, patient and polite. After his examination, he suggested a number of things we could do that we had not thought of to help rectify the issue of concern.

We had an issue in our home and contacted Guy to perform an inspection. He was quite quick to come out to our property and do an assessment-- no small thing as we are 3 hours from Calgary. The quoting was quite fair and all aspects of the work was clearly explained. On the day of the work, the crews showed up on time, clearly explained their plans and got to it! We were happy with the work completed and based on our experience, we would recommend Guy and the Matrix crew to any of our friends!

Had a great experience up until they stopped responding regarding final restoration of the affected areas. Tenants have had a hole in the wall for over a week which is unacceptable as a landlord. I've had to look elsewhere to finish the project. Frankly, it shouldn't be the customer's responsibility to arrange clean-up of the site.

If you're able to wait weeks on end for your job to be completed, then Matrix might be the company for you. During my first consultation, mold was found and Matrix provided a quote and remediated it quickly. The renovation is where it took a turn. The project manager takes days sometimes over a week to follow up to phone calls or emails. He mentions how busy he is with other projects and the issues he's encountering with other" projects. Most professional service I’ve ever experienced ! This guys are on their game from the minute they came to look at the damages , 30min later they had all the fans and drying equipment on site and with in days the leaking are was dry and walls and floors got removed and the house was ready for restoration…. From the moment we got the ok from the insurance company for the repairs , it took them 2 weeks to bring the house back to its original condition !Thank you guys !

Was extremely impressed with Matrix from the 1st phone call to the completion of the job. Everyone was professional, on-time, respectful and quality of work was #1! I would recommend Matrix to anyone who is considering using them and if you are hesitant, don't be! Excellent work and service all around! Jon and Guy led the team to do our mold remediation and asbestos removal when part of our basement flooded. We then upgraded the bathroom and Jon helped us make it into the spa style bathroom of our dreams! Couldn’t be happier with the professionalism, work quality, and experience. So happy in fact we had Matrix tackle a few other projects around the house as well including a new roof and replacement flooring (removed carpet and put vinyl wood planks down)

We discovered mould in our basement resulting from leakage through two cold joint cracks in the foundation. It was a very stressful experience for us, particularly with young children in the home and the recognition that the work would not be covered by insurance. The owner, Guy, and his team were extremely supportive throughout the ordeal. They were both professional and compassionate. Guy was on the scene immediately after our call and always available for discussions and experienced insight thereafter. Our main inspector, Jon, was both thorough and knowledgeable. As a result, we had a good plan of action. Work was conducted efficiently and well. We would hands down use Matrix again for remediation services.
