I hired Haines Tree Service to take down a large black walnut tree and grind the stump. This tree was very close to the house so it was tight working conditions. The Haines team determined the most efficient way to take down the tree with only minimal impact on the lawn. It was really impressive how they methodically brought the tree down in sections. They cleaned up the entire area when done, and even blew the tree debris off the roof of the entire house (even though the debris wasn't from the tree removal). The Haines crew was well mannered and courteous. A really nice family operation. Finally, despite the size of the tree and it's location, the removal was reasonably priced. Haines Tree Service did a really nice job and I will definitely hire them again.

Great experience! They removed a huge ugly pine tree from our yard and were in and out in less than an hour. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards too. Very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend.

We used BJ Haines Tree Service to cut down a number of trees and trim others, they did a wonderful job at what we considered a reasonable price. The crew worked very hard and accomplished the task in 1 and 1/2 days, they did exactly what we expected and cleaned up after they were done, when cutting & trimming trees consider using this family owned and operated business.

After several failed attempts to get quotes from AL recommended companies, I decided to use Google Reviews and quickly found BJ Haines Tree Service -- and I'm glad I did! They returned my call quickly and were at the house (with a certified Arborist!) within 2 days to quote the job. The work requested to be done: removal of one 75ft Silver Maple in backyard (near house and powerline), trim of large silver maple along property line, and removal of 3 pine trees growing too close to Elm (and stump grind all 4 trees). During the walk through, I asked Bonnie how she planned on removing the main Silver Maple -- and she replied quickly that they'd use a crane to lift the tree in chunks over the house and thereby also avoiding the powerline. Despite mid-pandemic and summer weather, we were able to schedule the removal within a month -- which was way faster than other quotes that required waiting 2 months for Xcel Energy to drop the powerline. Prior to the removal day, we agreed on a setup time that would allow for a 7am cut start. The crew got there, unpacked all of the machinery, and were ready to cut at 7am when the crane arrived. Mere minutes later the crane was working and lifting chunks of the tree over the house, inbetween other trees, and down to the road for disposal... in a blink of an eye, the Silver Maple was 100% removed within 1 hour. All four trees removed with stump grinding, one tree trimmed, (additional trim work done for neighbor who was impressed with their work!), removal of all debris (including removal of wood chips and raking the lawn affected by the removal), and all of the machinery packed up on trailers by noon. Yes, NOON. I am impressed with the speed of the work, the professionalism that they all had on the site, and their willingness to answer my questions (to make sure that I was satisfied with the result) -- well worth the cost!

Hired BJ Haines Tree Service to take down a dead tree in my front yard and they did an awesome job!! They were the lowest price of 3 companies I sought bids for and were quick, total business and did a fantastic job! Will hire them again in the future!

BJ Haines came and removed a 65 foot cottonwood. They ground the stump and hauled away the refuse. No damage was done to the surrounding garden area and they blew away any refuse when they were done. As ex-military, I appreciate professionalism, attention to detail and moving with a purpose. I will recommend their services to others and call them first if the need arises to remove a tree or seek their arborist expertise. Thank you for a great job.

BJ Haines Tree Service offers great work for a great price. The employees are hard working and are very knowledgeable. I had a large oak removed from my lawn and they did the job quickly and left my lawn looking like they were never there. There is no other Tree Service I would call to do any Tree trimming or removals.

Awesome tree removal service! BJ Haines removed 3 trees and grounded stumps for us. Trees included 2 monster cottonwoods and a dead elm all close to our house. We have a steep lot with difficult access on a street with steady traffic. After multiple quotes I didn’t feel very confident in hiring other crews... that is until Bonnie came out and gave a more reasonable quote and explained how they could easily access the trees with a 4 wheel drive aerial lift and a crane. Joe called and let us know when they would be there and everything was on time and exactly as planned. Would highly recommend this family run crew for any of your tree needs.
