Melanie at front counter was an ignorant, impatient c*nt. However the food was great. Too bad Melanie is working front counter, a face and personality like that should be in the back.

Update on all A&W except for the mall, as I haven't been there in a while. I really hate getting cold food or food that's been under a warmer waiting for the next customer. I always preferred to go to A&W, and some friends would complain because it takes longer than golden arches.... I always said but it's cooked when you order it - not cooked and set under a warmer for you to get there. I would order delivery if I wanted cool to cold food. So DISAPPOINTEDReally disappointed withThunder bay Arthur St. Location because they premake everything. It's garbage!!!!!! Nothing was hot and my cheese was air dried!!!!! If I could do a zero for this location I would. If I wanted premade food sitting in a warmer I would have gone to McDonalds and paid way less!!!The A&W by the Superstore was good last time I was there but I'll never go to the one on Arthur St. because of bad food twice. (Not spoiled food) I don't mind waiting because you know they're making your food and not taking it out of a warmer!!!!@

Such an amazing experience, the staff are so kind and considerate. Very accommodating to requests and go the extra mile.They left a note saying “hope you enjoy your order, have a goodnight!” and that was just so thoughtful.

Very friendly and prompt service. Fresh burger and superior onion rings. Mug so frosty it froze a little bit if the root beer!

Drive through is reasonably quick the past couple times I've been here. Food wise though. Store takes no pride in what they serve out. White lettuce/hard tomatoes/cold gravy / very cold fries. By the time you get home and notice its just too late. I called and complained about the fries and the guy told me it was because I had to drive. (I've got heated seats which always keeps my food warm lol) can't be bothered here anymore. For the cost I can go to any burger place in town and get a GOOD burger.

Fast and kind service, great food. Worked here almost a decade ago and although renovated some since then, still feels super cozy. Very clean and comfortable.

I thought for sure I was going to spend my whole lunch break waiting here, but not even 5 minutes. Custom order burgers and several combos as well, quick fast prompt and Correct! Maybe the other fast food chains in the city should take a page from their training manuals. 5 Stars.

The last 2 of the 3 times I've went here (spread out over a few months) the fryer has broken, which has limited the options on the menu. The service at the drive thru is also confusing when you ask multiple cars to pull off to the side with little to no room to do so. Not very impressed with the management at this restaurant.
