There are not many Indonesian restaurants in Toronto, and it’s even harder to find one that I would want to go back to again. The food was delicious and very authentic. The coconut rice was very flavorful and the chicken was crispy and cooked to perfection. The service was friendly. Definitely a new favorite and looking forward to trying the other items on the menu.

We ordered the beef rendang, chicken noodles and satay. I am usually skeptical of ordering satay because the meat can be dry in other restaurants, but uncle and auntie here does it so well! We brought our 2 year old here and she loved it too. We are so happy to have an authentic Indonesian restaurant in our area.

It's a small restaurant located in East China town took over the Chinese vegetarian restaurant since January 2023. Friendly staff and yummy grilled fish. Tastes like authentic grilled in Indonesia. I lived in Jakarta for 2 years n miss some of the dishes. I will go back for fish definitely. No parking in this restaurant.

We got the stirred fried noodle, gado gado salad, chicken skewers in satay and padang rice with beef rendang.Chicken skewers in satay with rice cake is a must order. But also everything we got was sooo flavourful and delicious. I finally found a good spot for Indonesian food in Toronto. Will definitely be back. I lived in SEA for a while so can vouch for this place’s authenticity. The owner was really sweet too! Support your small local businesses y’all

I have to attest that it's difficult to find good Indonesian restaurant in Toronto. Indonesian cuisine is often so difficult to cook from scratch that it is better to have professionals prepare it instead of doing it myself. Hence why my last visit to Ona's Noodle got me excited.Firstly, the restaurant was small, with signs from a vegetarian restaurant still left on the property. There was limited parking on the side of the road. The online menu was confusing to nevigate as well, which may be frustrating to first time users. The owner was nice, however, and helped us with choosing our meals.I found the fried rice rather wanting, because I prefer bold flavours in my nasi goreng. The soto Betawi was okay, though I was expecting more coconut milk and emping chips for a true soto Betawi experience. The chicken satay, however, was amazing, with good sauce and chewy rice cakes to boot. The bakmi Medan was fragrant, and the chewy noodles were on point. The rendang on my nasi Padang was slightly burnt when it came, but the taste was good, and the meat was tender. The balado sauce on the egg was flavourful as well, and a joy to eat.Ona's Noodle is a worthy addition to the diverse cuisines of Toronto, and I hope it lingers long enough to make an impact in GTA food culture.

I've come back here a few times since discovering this little gem a few weeks ago - my dad is from Indonesia and he says the food reminds him of home. It's probably one of the most authentic places for Indo food in the city. The owners Ona and her husband are so warm and kind - if it's your first time having Indonesian food she walks you through popular dishes to help you order. They mostly do takeout but you can sit and eat there too - they have a few tables and it's a cozy & casual vibe. There's Green P street parking right on Gerrard and it's free on Sundays. We've gotten the soto batawi (coconut soup), sate ayam w/ longtong (chicken skewers w/ peanut sauce and rice cakes), sayur asem (sour soup), mie ayam (chicken & mushroom noodles w/ soup on the side), mie goreng (my partner's favourite dish and he says it's exceptional here!), nasi padang (rice w/ beef rendang stew & spicy eggs), and fried shrimp dumplings (so crispy and delicious). There hasn't been a dish that's disappointed!

So happy to be getting Indonesian food in this area! Newly opened location and sounds like they're still figuring out their menu. My favorite so far is their pork satay. Everything tastes very authentic.

I had spring rolls, pork satay and nasi goreng. The owners are really friendly and kind, and the food was very authentic to Indonesian taste. Price is fair and I would go back again if I was in the area.

Everything tastes like home so far. Best chicken satay I've had in a long time. The peanut sauce is spot on. Rendang was another favourite. I no longer have to fly to Indonesia to get authentic tasty Indonesian food!
