Dr. Carrell is fantastic. Compassionate, professional, to the point and simply an expert physician. I have already referred people to see him. His staff are professional and caring and keep the office moving like clockwork!!! Thanks to ALL!

Actually , I see Doctor Nathan Carrell. He is my Dr . in this office . I find Dr. Carrell to be caring , explains all risks and benefits. Dr. Carrell is a keeper . I wouldn't want anyone else . I get injections in my left eye to try and stop a vein bleed .It works better if you can trust someone not to hurt you .

Dr. Carrell and his staff are the most unorganized staff I have even witnessed. I have been helping my friend book an eye surgery and they keep pushing back the date of the surgery with no explanation. They keep lying and it is causing extreme stress and anxiety. If I were you I would avoid this place of business at all costs

I am waiting with my 95 year old mother for her appointment. The patient demographic appear to be seniorCitizens yet the handicap access is atrocious. There is no curb accessible parking within wheelchair or walker navigation. I had to stop my car in the street to let my mother out, then help her over the curb, and then open the doors,The entrance is very hard to navigate with heavy doors. Once in the waiting room there it’s hard to find accessible and comfortable seating. No room to park a wallet or wheelchair, low chairs that are hard for seniors to get up from.Doctors- please take a walk through as if you are in either a wheelchair or a walker and do better for your aging patients. Pretends you have severe arthritis and lack the strength to step up a curb, open two tricky and heavy doors, and to pull yourself up from a low chair.Your patients need you and deserve to have dignified access to your facility.

I want to share that 2 years ago Dr. Heyns advised I needed surgery on my eyelids. I was advised this was for excess skin that lead to an eye infection roughly once a year. I never questioned this procedure and it has turned out to be a horrible mistake. My eyelids continuously burn as do my eyes & the lack of skin restricts certain movements to this day. Although I use drops (as suggested) to lubricate my eyes, it does not help. Dr. Heyns had also advised to take lots of vitamin E, again...does not help. The attached photo was a few weeks post surgery. The eyelids now have a distinct red line where the incision / stitches are in this photo.
