Bluenose Laundromat

This is a good-sized laundromat with lots of different sized washers. The owner is a little disgruntled gentleman but helpful..! He will answer your questions or help you out. It’s best if you just take his advice! It’s clean and efficient here. We went on a Wednesday morning and didn’t have to wait for a machine.Lots of side street parking too!

This place used to get 5 stars from me. When Bill and Maria owned it. I've been going here over 6 years and defended this place over and over. I have gone weekly for over 6 years. So I'm very informed about this business. I look forward to speaking with Bill or Maria everytime I went.However I can no longer support this establishment. Since it's sold the cleanliness is horrendous, for example, I washed out a drum twice to get it clean. The place is essentially being catered to drop off service. More washers and dryers are being used by the staff for drop off service then ever by Bill or Maria. So I've had to wait for a dryer and tell them while they were able to put more in the I need a dryer. Something I've never done before in the 6 years.I hope they don't lose any other regulars but i just can't do it anymore.

We have been going here for a long while, Bill and Marie were/are amazing people. Since the laundromat changed hands things have changed, it is still a great place to go to even with the increase of drop off, a better balance would be nice but that all comes in time. Reviews and opinions or just that go in and see it for yourself

Very happy to have found this place. I needed to wash my blanket and not all laundromats have big washers for this, some even particularly warn customers not to wash blankets in their washers. I called Bluenose this morning telling the owner the size and kind of blanket I have and went there after confirming that their machines can handle this. The owner helped me with operating the washer and the whole washing and drying experience is a bliss! Machines are a little old but they do the job just fine. Will definitely go back when I need next time.

Get a quote, if dropping anything off.Payed $128.00 to wash drop sheets to find out later they didnt even fit in the machine really so they weren't really getting clean and they were struggling with them.Where had I of known this in advance or they would've called n told me of the issue, I would've eitherA) cut the bigger ones in half since they're only drop sheetsB) said no, thanks I can replace them cheaper so just do the little guys..... orC) not dropped it off and sat there myself ahenni had time and saved $100.To be fair I was expecting to pay $40-$60 which is reasonable for commercial washers and half a dozen drop sheets.Which is about $2-3 dollars a pound because they are heavy

Good place. Owner is very friendly and nice person but i just went there today and i was treated very bad by lady who works there. She was very rude and not nice. All i asked was if they were open because i saw poster on their door that said something about drier and she just treated me like i am stupid. I felt humiliated because there were other costumers in there. I work for a pizza shop and I usually drop aprons to have washed but I'm still a costumer. I think no costumer should be treated like that. Thats just not nice.

The laundromat has space and easy to navigate. Machines are very old.$2.50 to wash one load. $2.50 for 30 minutes dryer.

Asked for dry cleaning for 4 saris. They got the job done. However, it was quite expensive. $100 plus tax and cash only. Gave it last weekend, and they said it would have been done by Wednesday. I didn’t get a call that it was ready, so I had to follow up myself this weekend. Then, when I went to pick it up, I saw they lost the bag I gave the clothes in. Appreciate that they offered another bag, though.

Great experience! Friendly service, easy-to-use washers and dryers, and very clean premises.FYI the washers cost $2.75 per load and the dryers cost $0.25 for 3 minutes of drying time. The folks at the front can provide change if you only have bills or toonies on you. :)

I am not a regular laundromat user but I live in the neighborhood and had a machine on the fritz so tried it out. I found it very clean and efficient! The owner was incredibly friendly and provided me with change for bills and provided direction on using the machines. Would definitely come back if needed in the future!
