they claim working hours 10-16 on Saturday and Sunday. This is not true, they are closed. I have a disability and no car, spent 15 minutes walking there at 13.30 today to find closed door. If they are not diligent in this question, I would doubt evrrything else about the service.

Convenient for basic rental, got what I needed and pleased with the good service provided.

U-Haul: Very unreliable do not count on them. I reserved a 20' truck a month prior to my moving day. I gave him a call a week before to make sure my reservation was was in place. They told me I was a little early and to call them back A-day before my move. So I did, just to find out I did not have a truck to move with. I was on the phone with them for a couple of hours ,put on hold and transfer multiple times and they finally found me a truck. I would NEVER use U-Haul ever again.

The staff at the front desk is nice. But there was an old Chinese guy seems like the owner, he was really rude and mean. All I have asked for was a trash can so can throw the garbage I have left in the truck I rented. Those were only few pieces of paper and one starbuck coffee cup. But he refused to let me use his trash can in the store and let me walk about 500 meters from the store and throw the garbage at a public trash can on the street. The other u haul I went to will help you clean the garbage you have left in the truck. But he didn't even let me use his trash can.There were many other u haul in richmond. Go to the other ones if u need to rent a truck.

Friendly and helpful manager /owner of the franchise. Rental truck reasonable and in good condition. Tons of cel phone covers and screens and cel phone related electronics in store if that’s what your looking for.

The guy in the counter is nice and we rented 10 foot truck around 2pm on Saturday then we are told we could return it before 9am on Sunday, we could take our time and no rush. Rate is in mile instead of km.

Booked a 20 foot truck from Richmond about month ago. Less than 24 before pickup, they call me to say that I can pick up 26 foot truck at North Delta after 2pm and there are no trucks available in Richmond. They changed time and location (+20km). They don't care about complains, they even don't want to search for another available locations...not to mention any discounts for troubles. Horrible service. Would never use U-Haul again.

Book an cargo van 3 weeks in advance, stopped by the location to pick up some boxes, uhaul boxes sold here are more expensive than uhaul website, the manager said I could return unused boxes, I bought extra. Couple days later, I got other boxes, went to return the unused uhaul boxes, another senior staff other than the manager refused in very rude manner, he talks really loud : ), went home called uhaul customer reps, uhaul customer representative is gread, he apologized for the experience, and helped me communicate with the rude staff, by the way, he also felt the rudeness, he reassured me unused uhaul boxes are returnable with receipt in the uhaul location you bought. To summarize, uhaul is still the best moving truck rental company, choose other locations if you don't want unnecessary trouble.
