I went in looking for a cheap suit for a one time event. Even knowing I wasn’t a big spender, I received the best service I have at any retailer of any kind in years. I was actually moved by it. I felt cared for and had good advice from knowledgeable staff. This is how retail wins out over online sales. People that care about their job and take pride in it. The suit was good, and I even let them up sell me on a few extras because I felt so comfortable spending money there. They earned it.

I rented my tuxedo and groomsmen's suits for my wedding from this location and they went above and beyond my expectations. Excellent customer service, professional advice, and super accommodating.My pants were initially too long and within a few days they fixed it to the perfect length. Everything fit exceptionally well, especially for myself who is on the shorter side.Thanks for making me and my boys look GREAT.

This is the best Moores branch in lower mainland and Vancouver. They have many options, sizes and brands as well. All of them are professionals, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Paul, the manager of this property, supported arranging suit rentals for my wedding this year. He is head and shoulders the easiest individual to work with. Moores has excellent options for planning a wedding, and Paul was adept at making it work for me.Not all Moores have such strong leaders, but you will not be disappointed if Paul is supporting rentals / new suits for your event!

I had my fitting and got my rental suit as part of groom’s team for my best friend wedding at Moores on Kingsway. Apparently it was not a smooth experience. When I first went for my fitting, I noticed right away that the employee was taking my measurements wrong. Fortunately the manager made some time for me, even though he was busy, and stepped in to do it right.I was told my suit would arrive 2-3 days prior to the wedding and if I needed a second fitting I should come a week prior to the wedding in case I gained/lost any weight. I did return to the store a week before the wedding even though I was positive I didn't need a second fitting but just double check that my suit was coming on time.My clothes arrived on Thursday and the wedding was on Sunday. However my vest fit large on me as it was the wrong size in the package. The assistant manager tried to explain to me the reason my vest was fitting large when I just expecting an apology for the wrong size and a way of fixing their mistake. They had to put in a second order with a smaller size vest that would arrive on Saturday, one day before the wedding. My request for keeping both vest in case one of them was too uncomfortable for me during the day of, was denied with the excuse of saving me back and forth trips to the store and saving an extra charge in case any item was misplaced and not returned. Please note that I had already been to the store 3 times and the 4th visit was just around the corner...I picked up my suit on Saturday but when I met the rest of the groomsmen on the day of the wedding we realized that our shoes differed from the groom’s and best man’s shoes. Plus it was not only me who had troubles with my fitting. Oh! One of the groomsmen didn't got his jacket in the suit bag and we were trying to figure out how it could be delivered to us when we should had be taking wedding photos with the groom.I returned my suit the next day after the wedding and I have to give credit to the manager who apologized for the inconvenience with offering me a $50 reimbursement. Overall it was an unpleasant experience. A neighbourhood tailor would have done way better job. Moores, you gotta step up your game if you wanna match with your name and reputation.

Before I left for an oversea trip I ordered a tailored suite at a price tag over $1000 with a free set of a cheaper suite. It was paid to be tailored. The work was horrifying. When I went to pick up the ordered suite, it was poorly made with loose back, misaligned shoulders. Terrible people as they almost booted me out when their boosted for their poor service and poor quality cloth. Take a look at the phot of the result of tailored suite! Worse than the one from value village. Those people shall be fired.

Moores is my favorite store. I buy all my clothes from there.2 stars because I booked an appointment to customize my wedding suit and had a bad experience:Store was understaffed. 3 hours in, after choosing the fabric and taking measurements we were told the fabric was out of stock. We felt like we wasted our time. Overall, we didn't feel taken care of. The experience was stressful as we had to keep looking for staff to get help.If you're buying a suit for your big day, just make sure they have enough staff to look after you and make the experience more enjoyable and less stressful.We ended up going somewhere else, customized 3 different suits and had better and seamless shopping experience.
