I haven’t been here in 10yrs as I moved away from Truro. I had dinner here with my Mother today. The waitress (Kate?) was so nice and excellent service!! The food was delicious! They give you a lot of food!

Wow! Seriously disappointed with Ho Ho's. I haven't been in years, but have told many people Ho Ho's is THE SPOT for Chinese in Truro. Ordered the #6 ( sweet & sour ribs, sweet& sour scallops,chow mein & chicken fried rice). The rice was overcooked,mushy and sweet flavored ( not at all fried rice like), the ribs( there were 3) were dry. The scallops,if you could call them scallops, I'm pretty sure it was punched out fish.If they were scallops,they should call them scallops slivers. I'll post pics.Sorry I told anyone to get their Chinese from here!

Ordered the chicken fried rice and the general tao chicken tonight for supper. Got home tried a bite of the rice. It was so over cooked it was soggy and tasted like nothing but water. The chicken wasnt a little spicy like normal, it was sweet and sour. Called the restaurant to complain as the food is literally not edible to be told she will re do my order. I had to tell her 3 times I dont want to drive into town again to try again, that I just wanted a refund as the food was disgusting the first time I wasnt taking a chance again. She said sorry we don't do that here. So I said goodluck with your business then cuz 32.00 is ridiculous for what I got. A 4 year old couldve cooked better. Will not be a returning customer and Ive eaten here plenty over the 8 years ive lived here and this is absolutely sad for the quality of food your serving. If you dont care about your customers and your not willing to make it right then how do you expect to survive?

Beautiful somewhat hidden gem on Inglis Street! Only thing I'd say is they need a little better visibility! Had a bit of a hard time finding it, but well worth the search! Food was top notch! Cheerful atmosphere, I'd give them 7 stars!

Ho Ho Wok Chinese Restaurant
Ho Ho Wok has been our go-to spot for Chinese since 2019. The food is always good and piping hot when it arrives at the table. The service is good as well. They get your order taken quickly and it gets to your table fairly quickly as well. We have ordered the numbered dinner plates which are good and generous helpings, but we mostly order ala-cart dishes with friends and share them between us all. And always end up with left overs to take home for the following days lunch!

Had there lunch special #6 and my daughter had the # 10 we were both very disappointed with both our meals. No flavour at all in the lemon chicken sauce and the stir-fry vegetables were over cooked and the rice tasted strange, you could tell it wasn't fresh. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Not worth it.

The Ho Ho Wok is delicious I've been eating there for over 20 years they have never changed their recipes I traveled from dartmouth often just to get good food and the city does not make authentic food any more
