To date, I have only purchased knitting needles from Fia Fia and am so happy with their quality for ease of knitting. The shop is so pleasantly personable and with the wonderful array of tempting, beautiful yarns, it won't be long before I return to make further purchases.

Love that little store! The quality, price and colors selections are great! She even have this season's Pantone colors!I'm a project type of knitter. Means that she can order more skeins to complete your project. And this is what she will do for me!Also, the best quality of silk in the city! Perfect for the next spring and summer project!I will come back for sure!

I love love LOVE this shop. So cute and cozy with an incredible selection of fibres as well as any tool you could possibly need for your project. Lots of books and patterns in the store, too, which is really nice. Bonus points for the shop cat that’s always snoozing in the window basket.

Another amazing fine yarn shop in the Maritimes! They carry all natural fibers, and brands that are hard to come by in Canada. I talked to the shop owner about a future project and she was very knowledgeable and gave me a suggestion for a suitable substitute yarn to use which is SO soft!! Highly recommend this shop!

Absolutely adore this shop. Halifax was missing something just like this for so long. Very beginner friendly, if you are just starting knitting or crocheting etc - they have all the tools and tips you need. All of the yard is so immaculately organized, they carry yarns that in the past I would have had to order from out of country, and Juliana is so freaking sweet. Literally catch me at Fia Fia at least twice a week.

This is by far, one of THE BEST yarn shops in town. The largest variety of mohair I've been able to find in the HRM region. The owner is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, as well as friendly and warm. She helped me find the perfect yarn for my next knitting project, based on the pattern, and helped me find appropriate substitutes where needed. The shop itself is very cozy and welcoming, with a nice variety of notions and tools to choose from as well. Would recommend checking out Fia Fia for your next project, or any of your fibre art needs.
