Sizzling Tandoor Uptown
I was really dissappointed with the taste and portion size of the chicken biryani and the portion of rice that came with the lamb curry. The biryani taste like it was pre made. I am attaching pictures to show portion size and how the food was not good for the amount it costs. The biryani costs 21 dollars and the curry costs 23 dollars so why are portions so small. Will not be returning to any of their branches anymore after this.

This was a very average meal at best. The chicken breast in the Tikka Masala was dry and overcooked. The bell peppers were very crunchy, not cooked. And the sauce was lacking spice and flavor. The Naan was decent, the soup was fine but nothing to write home about.Service wise, the staff were friendly but not as attentive as I would have liked. We had to ask for water a few times, as they didn't check in enough.Overall, it was an okay stop out of convenience but wouldn't return when visiting Victoria.

Walked in at lunch and it was busy and full. Staff immediately found small table and chairs from somewhere and set it up. We ordered from the menu and I was able to introduce my friend to Indian food. I was able to dispel the notion that everything was curry". She enjoyed different flavors and textures and looks forward to her next time."

First place I went to eat in Victoria and was really pleased with the experience. I've had a lot of Indian food at different restaurants and this place would near more toward the top of the list. I had a coconut beef curry, and my girlfriend had a classic butter chicken. Both tasted different bit equally delicious. We also got the garlic rosemary and garlic cheese naan and they were definitely worth the extra price. They were both generously portioned, hot, buttery, and tasted great. I'm a big eater and even the portion size was good for me. Shout-out to the girl who served us, was incredibly polite and even offered us free chai which also tasted great. the only thing was the lighting was extremely dim, and we actually had to use a flashlight to see our food lol.

Their food tastes amazing. Specially the tandoori chicken. We went for lunch buffet. It usually have two meat item- 1 kebab/tandoori type and another one is butter chicken.We had to wait for a long time for the tandoori. But the taste feels like worth waiting for it! Would visit this place again.Staff were very nice and had clean washroom!

Awesome food which make you want go there again. Lots of food variety of meat and vegetarian and vegan. Great place for lunch break from work or lunch/dinner with family. Also lovely place to go for buffet (everyday from 12pm to 3pm) with fair price (around $18 before tax and tips)

Tried their Buffet, it was small, they had no paneer dishes for vegetarians, only one starter, while the food was tasty, cost seemed much for the amount of items they had
