I had an excellent stay / retreat at Villa St Martin in July of 2020. The natural beauty of the location located right on the river was very conducive for prayer and reflection. The grounds are kept in immaculate condition, with flower gardens and lots of green space. I woke up each morning to birdsong at my window. There are hiking trails nearby for longer walks & jogs. Finally, the food alone is worth coming back for! Delicious, filling meals.

Friendly staff. Huge surrounding gardens, with some of them facing the river. Old house but well maintained . The food is very good. Careful, it could be too abundant. 13 highway pass nearby and produces an almost constant background noise, but is a highway: Cars don't honk, for example. So, it's very easy to forget is there.
