Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT)

Recently enrolled in a Business diploma and have decided to drop out because that isn't the program for me but also because Nait is actually such a waste of time. Wasn't surprised to see other negative reviews. There's never any staff in the building which means 0 support for students. Office hours make no sense. Student Services" staff are rude and unhelpful. Why are all their staff still working from home??? I had such a negative experience just trying to drop out

I am extremely disappointed with the admission process of NAIT. It has been four months since I submitted my application, and I haven't received a single update or communication from them. At this point, I'm left wondering if my application is even being considered or if I will ever receive a decision.The lack of communication from NAIT is incredibly frustrating. Four months is an excessive amount of time to review an admission application. It is unfair to leave applicants in the dark for such an extended period, especially when they have invested time and effort in preparing their applications.The admission process is a critical aspect of any educational institution, and prompt communication is essential. Unfortunately, NAIT has failed to meet this basic expectation. The absence of updates or any form of acknowledgment has left me feeling disheartened and uncertain about my future.Overall, I would not recommend applying to NAIT until they address these issues and demonstrate a commitment to timely and transparent communication with applicants.

apply to them, they reply very long time, i really can’t understand why, what are they doing, even 4months, after confirming,they require official files, who has such enough time ? are you kidding me? i make live chat they never online, what did the employees are doing ?

Ernests is run by the Culinary students at NAIT. Staff/students are friendly, the food is well presented and very reasonably priced.Keep in mind when dining to be patient with staff/students as it is a learning environment.

School is pretty med for its course, since mine is a part-time program, all my course are split into different parts which can be difficult to maintain and have the most current up-to-date info. Teachers were alright, had a great experience with the Excel teacher but when it came to a windows operating course (which I didn't need...) to the bookkeeping level 1, I had some terrible experiences. The one teacher for windows was not talking anything about how the windows worked (for those who are new to the system) completely went off topic. The teacher I had for bookkeeping was not very helpful in terms of if a student had a question. Honestly, depending on what you're taking in this college, good luck with the instructors; some are great, and some aren't.

You cannot phone for help.You wait days for email reply.High fees & as much digital BS as they canYour certificate requires additional fees, and registration with a 3rd party.

Nait is caring ,loving and keep refining. As a student, I sincerely feel delightful and fortunate on a daily basis studying here!!!

NAITs focus is making money. The students are incidental. The community at large is incidental.And to top it all off.. now that I've graduated they frequently send me emails asking for money.I guess you can do these things when your the only game in town.

Can anyone please tell me how long it take to get an offer from Nait ? Its been 1 and half month and I'm still waiting for a offer .
