Mental Health Svc Crisis Line

Mental health in Newfoundland is a joke and call lines like these prove it.

I felt very welcomed and really comfortable with the intake worker and had very good conversations with councilors.

Called due to a panic attack, seemed like because I wasn’t suicidal they didn’t care. Call lasted all of maybe 5 minutes and the panic attack wasn’t even over.

I’m sure they could have helped if they would have send someone but they just kept telling me I was okay. They said I didn’t open up but wouldn’t let me speak, just kept reminding me I was “OKAY”.

This place they call mental hospital for sick people is just a BIG joke. We can probably get more help from a black sheep.Please dont go there if you are very sick.

If you're not suicidal before calling you are after. Called multiple times over the years everybody working here is absolutely not fit for the job.

Horrible. I called them suicidal with suicidal plans for the day and the head of the mobile crises calls me and tell me i am the problem. Says Hospitalization will do me no good. I'm Suicidal. So suicide is not a good reason to be admitted, so i am doing sme. She stated I am the problem. This was all my fault. Its my fault the FACT team handed me a Forensics Document dated June 28th, 2022 on an patient that was not me, nor was i ever in Forensics. Suicide is not a good reason to be admitted... he word were Hospitalization will do you no good. Here i am popping pills and drinking. Thanks for the pep talk Head of Mobile Crises. Stay away.
