Hole in the Wall Restaurant
The food quality and the service used to be good but not anymore. I ordered Gnocchi which was served cold, I had to return it to have it heated up. It reminded me of poor quality store-bought frozen Gnocchi dish that wasn’t heated up properly.This was quite disappointing as the restaurant is very small and it wasn’t busy at the time, so we couldn’t blame the oversight to being too busy. After dinner we ordered some tea and the water for tea was lukewarm at best and we had to send it back and ask for hot tea. This experience made us wonder about their ignorance and lack of care when serving their customers. One time oversight can be understandable but twice in one night is not excusable, it is lack of care and quality. Considering what we pay for a good experience dining out, this experience did not meet our expectations.

An all around wonderful find this afternoon. It is beautifully decorated with friendly staff and the food was the best we have had in a long time. I can’t wait to go back and try the pizza or maybe the lobster dip!

Hole in the Wall Restaurant
Our first time here was tonight. We had been planning to eat here for a while but life got in the way. After seeing the menu for New Year's Eve, we decided to make a reso and what a great decision that was!Top notch service from our server, Mary and when she was busy her coworker was quick to help out. Everything came out in a timely manner and I have absolutely no complaints.All five plates from the New Year's menu, were beautifully plated and tasted great. My lamb was cooked to perfection as well as my partner's beef tenderloin.Everything was perfect from start to finish.Thank you for a lovely atmosphere, friendly and professional staff and amazing food.We'll be back in 2023!

I didn’t see any info on the website regarding the change in the cook staff. I was very disappointed when I was told that the sumptuous photos from the reviews seen here are no longer in the menu (lobster dip, seafood chowder, lasagna, to name a few). Drove about 45 mins to get here only to be disappointed from the limited menu options.To be fair:Giving 2 stars for the taste and location.We ordered cheese pizza, rigatoni, and butternut squash risotto. Venue and location is above average. Wait staff is friendly. They were able to accommodate our $15 lunch menu item although we have placed them at 2:30 (wait staff allowed).

We were checking restaurants in Windsor online and came across the Hole in the Wall. Well definitely glad we decided to check it out. The service was very friendly, really great waitress. The food was so delicious! I had the lobster dip, piping hot and an assortment if dippers. My daughter who can be fussy about food, had the maple chicken pizza. She loved it. Shared a dessert, great! Highly recommend.

Great spot, lives up to the name with a cute and cozy interior, and they have a nice outdoor patio with heaters and blankets available. The menu has a bit of everything, but a focus on Italian food with seafood flair. Rotating specials for the pizza and pasta options means you'll be able to try new things even if you are a regular here. I had the Buffalo chicken pizza with house made ranch, and my partner had the ginger soy mussels with a cup of their seafood chowder. Neither disappointed, and you could taste the quality in the dishes. Highly recommend for a date night or a pleasant sit down meal.

Oh my gosh, this place is amazing. So delicious :) We had the apple Pecan crostini, the Prosciutto and Caramellized Onion pizza, pad thai, and the Creme brulee. All dishes were delicious, and service was great.

One of my favourite spots in Windsor to eat , food is always perfectly prepared and presented, staff is absolutely fabulous, great location and excellent prices . Definitely a must stop if your in the area .

I thought location is great. Service was very good. I appreciated the large bottles of water as we sat and refilled without asking. The food was hot and delicious. Staff very accommodating. I will be back soon. The best dining experience in a long time.
