I highly recommend this company for tours in Stanley Park. Great for anyone interested in local plants, history and Indigenous culture or just a lovely guided walk in the forest. We did the Talking Trees tour, guided by Shae, and learned so much. Lots of info, but also warm and personal as Shae shared her story and connection to the area with us. She also matched our pace and responded to our interests, making it very easy and enjoyable for everyone. Loved it and will do it again, anytime I have visitors to Vancouver.

I've been on three tours with Talaysay, each as a means of professional development as an educator. Each tour was unique, informative, and useful. I appreciated Candace's warm and welcoming demeanour and ability to accommodate groups. Seraphine was a tour guide for a UBC masters group course tour. It was an inspiring to listen to a grounded, intelligent, capable, and humorous young lady. The tea was tasty and so was the food. Hats off to you Talaysay!

We booked Talaysay Tours Talking Totems Art Walk, History & Culture tour for our first day in Vancouver. We knew we would see many examples of Indigenous art in the galleries and museums that we would visit while in Vancouver, and we thought this tour in beautiful Stanley Park would be an excellent introduction. We met in the area of the totems. Our tour leader, Seraphine, and her assistant, Daniel, were very informative and we learned so much about the art, stories, and culture of the Northwest Coast peoples. There was also time at the end of the presentation for our questions. This tour enhanced our trip to Vancouver, and it is highly recommended.

Candace is an exceptional tour leader with a deep knowledge of the land and the Indigenous people who lived and played here long before settlers arrived. I learned so much, laughed out loud, and absolutely loved the exquisite salmon meal served at the end of the hike. I'd highly recommend Talaysay Tours to anyone who wants to learn more about Vancouver's natural spaces and history, whether you're just visiting or live here like me.

Absolutely loved the tour! Patrick was our guide for Talking Trees and helped us understand so much about nature. Will try different tours too.

We booked the Spoken Treasures - Stanley Park and Patrick was phenomenal! His presentation about the indigenous wisdom regarding the importance of the intersection between the ocean and the forest which is now blocked by the sea wall was incredibly thoughtful. He patiently responded to our questions. Sharing tea with us at the end of the tour made this time all the more special. I learned a lot and would highly recommend this!

Our work booked this tour for us (talking trees in Stanley park). What an amazing tour with knowledgeable tour guides! Highly recommend. Incredible tour guides brought so much of their culture to share with us (the tour guides were from Squamish Nation and from Haida Nation). The walking pace is accommodating to the group pace and is stroller and walker friendly (gravel paths).

I won a kayak tour in Sechelt through a silent auction. I was a little nervous because prior to that I had not kayaked a lot. It was a great experience though. The pace of the tour was reasonable and we stopped for a nice snack on a beach. From the moment you check in the staff are friendly and knowledgable. But also - it was just a great experience in terms of getting to know the others in the group and being out in a beautiful spot. I highly recommend this experience. They also have cool sasquatch shirts for sale on their website.

We were able to this tour with a group of colleagues from around Canada. What a special way to honour Indigenous History Month by learning about the area and Stanley park from an Indigenous lense. Sera was incredibly engaging and bubbly! Adding in personal stories and history as well. I know my team is incredibly grateful and honoured to have taken this tour. Thank you!
