Great place to adopt a pet from. Our kitten came up to date with all vaccinations and procedures. It is clear that the pets are very well cared for as we were thoroughly vetted and given loads of pet care information tailored to our specific kitty. Great communication throughout and following the adoption. Cannot recommend enough!

One of the very best compassionate services imaginal. She has found wonderful homes for a multitude of stray homeless cats, attended to their medical needs given them care and love. Super impressive.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cats of Salt Spring and Jenn. My partner and I adopted an adult cat from her a few weeks ago and the process was so smooth and quick. We have felt so supported by Jenn the entire time. Jenn goes out of her way for her rescue cats as well as future fosters and owners by loaning a crate, cat bed, litter box, carrier and providing some cat food and litter to start. These items helped us focus on the cat, and not stress at the start of our foster to adopt. Jenn continuously offers support to us via email and text, and is very quick to respond. Anyone looking to adopt a cat, this is the place to look. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Jenn, Mickey (originally Bruce) is so so loved and we cannot express enough appreciation for all the support you've given us.

Finding a cat for my daughter has been quite the journey. We had finally found Sushi and thought for sure she would be snatched up. But we got the call to see if we were still interested! Of course! This cat is the sweetest thing and has made us very happy.Jenn has been very accommodating and has great communication through the whole process.Sushi has definitely made herself home and we are in love!Thank for you for your dedication to the cats you rescue!

We love the Cats of Salt Spring Rescue Society! We started out fostering-to-adopt two kittens and they have since become wonderful additions to our family. The Society provides so much support and are alway available to answer any questions. When one of our new kittens escaped, having never been outside before, I went into a panic. At the drop of a hat, Jenn, who runs the Society, came by with two traps. After two nights out on the lam, our boy Benny was caught in the trap and returned home to us. The relief!!! I can't recommend the Cats of Salt Spring Rescue Society enough. If you are looking to adopt a kitten or two, or even an older cat, or are looking to foster, you couldn't find a more supportive adoption group.
