We had our new home inspection done by Carson Dunlop and had a wonderful inspector. Hal Woolley was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain why his findings were important, associated risks and how to correct or improve them. His vast experience in the industry and as an inspector was remarkable. It clearly set him above and beyond any other home inspector I have used in the last 20 years! Greg Kendall was an amazing home inspector. Very thorough and insightful. Not only did he inspect every aspect of the home we listed, he gave us a list of things that are recommended and should do's. Stay miles away from these people. Incompetent and unqualified at best (and likely much worse), they 'missed' major structural deficiencies of a house. If you are a buyer and have one of their reports, just throw it out and get a professional home inspection done from another company that can be trusted.

I dealt with Michael on the phone lines to book everything up, and he was AMAZING. Very hands-on, friendly, caring, and informative. Good customer service is very rare to find these days, so it was very nice and refreshing. Made me feel very positive about Carson Dunlop as a company. Our inspector (Walter) was also wonderful, detail-oriented, and a good guy. The house deal didn't go through due to the inspection, and they really helped us through it. If the company is filled with people like Michael and Walter, will always use and highly recommend this company!

If there was less than 1 start I would give this company such a score. The 3.5 million dollar house I bought had flaws that was not identified nor highlighted. A phone conversation that I had with the representative was very short and he assured that there is nothing to worry about and the house is in pristine condition only to find out that there are issues with HVac and major issue with electricity. Plus vague defensiev language throughout the report that should have been discussed verbally and emphasizd in person to protect the client's interest. My advise to home buyers is to probably do 2 inspections before you give your deposit. I would have negotiated a better price had I knew those deficiencies.

Josh Natovitch was gold! Knowledgeable and thorough beyond expectation! Absolutely amazing! He explained EVERYTHING to us as first time home buyers with such patience and elaboration that was absolutely exceptional! He went above and beyond what was required to help us have a more thorough understanding of the house we were buying. And the 50-page report he sent us within only a few hours was another surprise of the quality of the service we received from him. He helped us get rid of all of doubt we had about the house and because of him, we made our purchase with all the confidence on the planet! It was money WELL-SPENT because of him. Josh is highly recommended, and so is Carson Dunlop!

We completed a Buyer’s Review of a Home Inspection Report with Walter Collodel. This is our first house so we were a bit anxious about maintenance and repairs. Walter was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and thorough. He took the time to explain everything to us in detail and provided really solid practical advice. He went above and beyond. The Report itself is also a great resource and reference with clear photos and diagrams. We had been house hunting for a while and have seen a lot of home inspection reports during our property search. This Report was head and shoulders above the rest. Can’t recommend more!

First of all Josh Natovitch is an amazing guy. He took the time to explain everything on site. He was very knowledgeable, and was open to me asking questions. On top of this he gave advice and tips that were beyond the requirements. Because of Josh, I learned more about home maintenance than I had in years, and allowed me to feel comfortable closing on the house. If I ever can get asked by someone for a home inspector I WILL be recommending Josh specifically. From what I have heard, inspectors can vary in quality". Carson Dunlop... Josh should be treated like gold. He blew us away. As for the service in general. The appointment was booked and attended almost within 24 hours
