If you want to feel like a massive inconvenience to everyone there call for a simple part that they should stock but likely don't and you'll wait for hours to hear back from anyone if they even call you at all.. the parts guy is amazing there an unfortunately he was on holidays when i needed assistance from someone that actually cared to talk to me.

We brought our boat in for a single repair of the prop shaft seal, but instead they completed a full engine maintenance. When we picked up our boat, they refused to believe that we did not request this service and it cost us approx. $800. The maintenance they completed such as an oil change, is something that we can do ourselves and would never have requested this. We wanted the single seal repaired as we were intending to sell the boat immediately after, so an $800 maintenance that we did not request, was a shock and absolute frustration.Lesson learned, if you are going to use this shop, request for a copy of the sheet that outlines what they are going to do.

edited from 1 star to 3.Had a poor experience with the purchase of a brand new side by side.Arrived to pick it up 3 days later than I could have, and was told there was 15 minutes of work remaining to do on it.After waiting for well over an hour, it was very obvious that the PDI had not been done at all.They had further issues and could not turn the unit over at all that day.The situation was eventually remedied by a promise of free delivery to my home, along with free 1st service, which I thought was fair.I explained to the salesman that I would have been happier had I not been obviously lied to from the beginning. (he made obviously B.S. excuses several times during the process)In the end, I was happy with what was offered, but still upset that they weren't honest and up front. It would have went a long way.

I brought my boat to wards marine for one job, and one job only. To replace the prop shaft seal. The tech and I quickly discussed the job and it was expected to be $200-$300 job.When they called and said it was done they informed me that they did a full service, replaced a fuel line, and never did the job I specifically dropped it off for. Needless to say I was upset. The work they did ended up costing me $800.00! I NEVER asked for them to do this work, and they were not willing to compromise. The owner was animate that I asked for the full service but this was not the case. The boat was fine before bringing it there, and they did absolutely nothing regarding my bottom end leak. They basically did nothing to my boat and charged me $800.00.Do not trust Wards Marine!

Quick service brought my older boat in for a tune up, friendly customer service and ended up needing a steering cable replaced (rotted out) to which they were quick and diligent to find a replacement part and get me back on the water. Many thanks to the front desk team and their mechanics, all very friendly -I’ll be taking my boat/other toys there for any and all future needs!

We recently purchesed a used Princecrft boat from Ian at Wards Marine. There initially was an issue with the outoard but this was addressed before taking delivery. Overall we are pleased with our experience at Wards. Good job by everyone.

Several years ago I was on vacation and needed a water pump impeller for my old Yamaha 9.9 outboard. Your business was recommended and I was over an hour away.We drove there on a Saturday and arrived at about 3:pm.I was having muscle spasms in my back and was very uncomfortable. After waiting a short time someone came to help me. He must of sensed I was in pain and asked if I wanted a chair to sit on. YES I was relieved to sit down.Then I asked him the big question about the part for my old motor. He smiled and returned in about 5 min. with the part in hand.I paid and left a happy man.If I ever need anything again it's worth the drive and customer service.

Complete waste of my time, called in about a tune up on my late 80s 2stroke mercury 50hp. They told me to drop off the boat and I get a call the next day telling me they don’t want to work on it.
