Black River Contracting & Rental

Saw the great reviews and couldn't wait to get my first rental at BRC. Spoke to Bran on the phone to set my $780 order in place. Drove all the way there from Toronto to do the paperwork before close on a Friday, only to be turned away. Told my order was cancelled and there's nothing they could do. He just shrugged his shoulders. No phone call. No heads up. Who treats their customers like that? Such a disappointment. Hopefully you'll get better service than I did.Update: BRC never informed me of a cut-off time for arrival and as I had already pre-booked and confirmed the rental, my understanding was I going there to place my ID on-file. If there was concern around my arrival time, the least they could have done is called me. They had all my information on file.Luckily is was not a lost project weekend for me. The following day I contacted 'Georgian Rent-All', and they went above and beyond to rent to me that same day. They were wonderful to deal with and will be getting my business going forward.

My septic system had a blockage and i was having septic backup, no plumbers available on this Sunday, Black River Rental is closed on Sundays. I decided to call Black River Rental on hopes and dreams and The owner has the phone forward to his cell! He's not even home, called his wife for me and she let me in, on a Sunday to rent a pipesnake and saved our day! It worked great and we are on the back deck by 3 in the afternoon. Thank you so much Black River Rental for saving the day, you went above and beyond for me and i will tell everyone how good your service is, again, thank you!

I had a flooding in my cottage and I went to rent a commercial fan to Black River Contracting & Rental. They provided the best service ever!!! After all I hired this company, to help me to fix our sump pump draining pipe , and again everything was done properly , on time and absolytly professional !!! I definitely recommend Black River Contracting & Rental THEY ARE THE BEST!!!

Richard & Caleb were absolutely fantastic. They helped us with the equipment we needed. Went way and beyond. I highly recommend BRC.

The owner goes here by the name of Richard I have never met a owner more racist and ignorant than this man it’s a shame we have peopleLike him living in Canada because Canada stands for diversity if you are a person of Middle East heritage or African don’t go in here because u will have a rude awakening. It’s a shame if any one gives this men his business I feel sorry for staff because they seemed very polite and respectful

Richard and his team were fantastic. Richard went above and beyond helping us, when we got in over our heads attempting to clean up our property — after a major wind storm brought multiple old growth trees down. And when it comes to using high-end construction machinery, Richard is a magician!

I highly recommend Black River Rental. The staff are friendly, honest, knowledgeable and kind. The owner is also on hand to help and makes it a great and friendly environment. For all your rental needs this the place and the prices are amazing!!! Thank you all for your help!
